I'm personally more attracted to the randomness of the blog than it's usefulness.

I like it when Leo posts whatever he thinks is cool, interesting, weird etc. Regardless of how people feel about it.

I don't think the comment section would be good. He explicitly made it like that.

The like button could be a nice feature though

Unfortunately I agree with this. Any discussion or perspective should involve both positive and negative feedback. Otherwise it will have a cult like appeal to it. Although criticism can be hard to take sometimes, it's a necessary path.
