I’m about to get veneers but not so excited

6 posts in this topic

The veneers look is really nice and gives really great impression about the person that’s why I’m considering it heavily and my dentist recommended it but I’m slightly hesitant because to get them the dentist will shave my teeth a little. Should I accept that change for my natural teeth for the long term goal which is having a great smile with a full set of great looking teeth?

“For whatever you see with your eyes, desire with your heart, or change by your hands to make your body different than what the Earthly Mother created, so shall you lose the harmony of her gifts. Artificial beauty is like a painting upon the skin, while true beauty shines from within, from the purity of heart and spirit.”

What’s wrong with your teeth? Do you clean them regularly?

Go ahead, if you think it'll boost your self-confidence and smile. Sometimes, we need that boost to help life become more enjoyable. Don't listen to the naysayers who might not know the reasons why you're considering this move and what you've been through. We're doing stuff every time to boost this ego of ours it's just that somethings seem more artificial than some and the mind makes the comparison. The end result is what matters. The process, too but when it comes to physical things like appearances, the difference is minute. Installing a chip to make you more loveable, compassionate and kind is a different thing than wearing veneers for better looking teeth as far as this relative world goes. You cannot by emotions.

Every time we deviate from our ancestral ways of living we take great risks. Great risk requires great rewards. If the rewards of getting the veneers are not clear or significant, carefully consider your decision. If the rewards are clear, significant, and durable, then you may go for it. There is no rush for such kinds of procedures, you can always do them in the future. Just sharing my consertivative approach to health.
