A World Without Religion

If there's no dogma, humans will invent it.

If you want change in religion or world, you'll need tectonic shifts in human consciousness on a mass scale like a mushrooming of stage Turquoise throughout the world.

Elevating human consciousness is tough. One human baby at a time. That's why the work of spiritualists is so fundamental to human change.

Cultural shift. Shift in global consciousness. Not impossible. But a lofty goal. Gigantic effort. Start with one human.

Yeah, but the problem is that fundamentalists believe they already have all the answers. If someone tries to change their beliefs or consciousness, they will only say that you are possessed by Satan and that Satan has deceived you. It’s very frustrating.

The end of separation is the end of desire. It’s life, it’s death, it’s unity; it is the absolute. In this profound realization, we find perfection eternal, a state of everlasting harmony.

@Spiritual Warfare, is there a double meaning in the image? 😂

It would be good if they weren't dogmatically taught to children.

To be honest, I think that if the school is good, children could grow up without being taught religion.

Education needs to encourage critical thinking skills rather than indoctrination.

Many conflicts and wars have a direct connection to religious beliefs, indicating that religion itself can be a triggering factor rather than merely a symptom. For example, religious groups have sometimes fought to promote their belief systems at the expense of others.

Furthermore, political authorities may exploit religion to justify war, oppression, and inequality, demonstrating that religion can be a direct source of problems rather than just a symptom.

I agree, religion, especially in its fundamentalist forms often includes an absolute ideal that is seen as more important and valuable than even humanity itself. This provides the ground for justification for violence in the name of this absolute ideal. This is especially the case with forms of religious fundamentalism that are insecure about their status and act out of reactionary fear.

Yet, if we just remove religion, we still have other forms of ideology, which present us with a lot of the same issues. We would just continue doing the same stuff, just in the name of a different absolute ideal. So the problem you raise is very very deep. It's a problem that is pretty much inseperable from the human condition and social reality itself. So that's why I'm inclined to believe that we need an ideology that both fully convinces us, yet fully confronts us with its own failure.

The way it seems to me is that that's the only "way out" from this predicament. And even that is full of traps, and it can't really be done intentionally, since that would fail to be truly convincing. The ideology that both convinces us yet completely fails us would need to come about organically, which further complicates things.

Your job is not to convince or de-radicalize a fundamentalist. Your job is to prevent a youth from being radicalized and this is achieved by elevating the consciousness across the board. The root cause of all maladies is low consciousness. With high consciousness, even religion will have very little impact. You're not looking at the absolute, instead you choose to look at it through a microscope. I'm telling you to see the bigger picture.

Great comment. It is true that all ideologies can lead to similar issues, one might argue that some belief systems prioritize compassion, empathy, and critical thinking, which could mitigate the potential for violence and conflict.

But I don’t see how they have very little impact on the world. Sure, from a bigger perspective, the world is an illusion, so this may not really matter. However, the fact is that we are currently stuck in our egos, and religious people are the majority. In my opinion, we can’t escape that through meditation or anything else.

Yeah, you are crazy the way you are intolerant and totalitarian about religion. Yes, it has genuine problems but you need to make peace with reality as it is so you can be sane enough to make constructive changes.

”make peace with reality” can be seen as complacency. Instead, we need to confront and question harmful ideologies rather than simply accepting them as they are.

It's not as catastrophic of a problem as you might want it to be to justify your hate.

Yeah, I'm a cool person.

You clearly are being dishonest, which is not surprising. I am not hateful, I want people to acknowledge that they should be open minded and question their beliefs.

You're clearly very anti-religious and seems an unhinged fanatic in a paradigm lock, inconsiderate and disrespectful of others ways.

Just because I’m anti-religious does not mean I’m hateful! I don’t respect ideologies that have been disproven. According to your logic, it’s okay for someone to create a cult and say that we should kill all black people. If someone speaks out against that cult, does that mean the person is hateful and should not be heard? Religious people’s worst enemy is logic, and I’m not going to accept harmful beliefs. I don’t hate the person; I hate their ideology. You need to separate the two.

Just grow your psychic abilities to shift the timeline and unmanifest them, if they bother you so.

BTW, your old pfp is giving me strong nostalgia and your next post is gonna be your 1000th! Congrats.

@Spiritual Warfare See them as cells, religious people are the T-Cells, the policing force of blue, whose disciplined nature might be essential to keep the body healthy and together through their order and rules, until of course the body evolves and no longer needs them and they end up an autoimmune disease that turns into a cancer, oh well there goes that well-intentioned metaphor...
