How do you delete quote on mobile?

This won't go away, using android.

1. Download Google keyboard. Select it as your keyboard.
2. Click on the the top left side button on the keyboard when writing something
3. Touch "Text Editing"
4. Use the arrows buttons to move the cursor on the quote
5. Touch "Cut"

I think you can use any keyboard that has that option.

Yes, it works. Wonderful. 

I used to clear cookies (and login again) to clear it.
