From beasts we scorn as soulless, in forest, field, and den,
the cry goes up to witness the soullessness of men.

Treat everything less like a grind and more like a hobby. What excites you? What do you value intrinsically? What will give you peace?

There is no law in the universe that states that you have to treat your body like a temple.

Your options are limited.  You cannot be a winner in all fields. You have to choose , in which all fields can i be a winner. My choice for you  is carrear + family

You will be a loser in every other field

I don’t think it’s that binary.

even if it takes 10k hours to master something, most of our lives are long enough to master more than two things.

Yeah

You can put 10k hours in a few things

You won't be able to put 10k hours in 20 different things

Realistically speaking

1. You can't do shit in half an hour. A warm up alone takes 15 minutes

You can learn to play piano every day for half an hour and be a master after 3-4 years. But you fail to see this.

But the key is that I become financially free BECAUSE I needed to in order to do that things my LP called for.

How on earth is it possible to:

  • Have a job
  • Have a social life
  • Spend time with your family
  • Workout: cardio, strength training, and flexibility
  • Have a relationship
  • Do personal development and spirituality
  • Have time for yourself to relax, enjoy your hobbies, and whatever
  • Eat healthy

Are there people who actually manage to do all of these and not burn out or is this just a self-help myth of an ideal life?

I often struggle a lot with this as well. You have spoken about ADHD. I struggle with Autism. Both have overlapping patterns. Management and organizing is tough in such situations. So I have decided to keep a firm time table. It's still tough. I like the Eisenhower technique. You can Google it. It's about making a list of what you want to do and then assigning it to time blocks or chunks of time and only focusing on your current time block. There is also pomodoro.

If I have more techniques in mind I'll share them with you in the future.

It's a matter of time management, that's what it boils down to.

I have yet to read a plenty of books to see a technique that matches my mind operation fluently. I'll get there. Been struggling for many years with it so i kinda understand how you @Something Funny feel.

You could also do it this way. My sister is doing this technique currently. She assigns a whole month for a goal because she has kids and she has to manage a business. So this month was her "calm" month. She spent the entire month staying calm.

I'm planning to do the same with an accountability partner (Hehe that's my husband), I want to devote one week to one specific goal. Like for example I'll spend this entire week on self awareness exercise. Next entire week I'll dedicate to physical exercise and so on. That way I know that I'm distributing my time span over a variety of goals.

You have to keep rotating and try different techniques and see which one is giving you better results.

I'm still searching by the way. :D

It is possible. I do all that (change job for studying two engineering degrees) plus private lessons in English, french and Italian every week.

It's all about habits and building momentum in your life. Once you have acclimatized yourself to the pressure add a new challenge. Also try to do activities that satisfy multiple needs. For example doing french and Italian with my mother. Or training with my girlfriend. Doing hobbies with friends. Listening to Audiobooks while jogging. Watch documentary of a country at every meal, stop if necessary and continue seeing it in the next meal.

I still consider myself in the dark ages of my potential time optimization, I believe I could 3x myself but my discipline is not developed enough for that. Meaning there is still so much room for improvement. You wouldn't even imagine how hard people work, I know people insanely more productive and hardworking than me. It's all about ambition and discipline.

God-Realize, this is First Business. Know that unless I live properly, this is not possible.

There is this body, I should know the requirements of my body. This is first duty. We have obligations towards others, loved ones, family, society, etc. Without material wealth we cannot do these things, for that a professional duty.

There is Mind; mind is tricky. Its higher nature should be nurtured, then Mind becomes Virtuous and Conscious. When all Duties are continuously fulfilled, then life becomes steady. In this steady life God is available; via 5-MeO-DMT, ... Living in Self-Love, Realizing I am Infinity & I am God
