To make it more efficient, you must be pretty close of your screen and fix the center in a languid way, as if you were admiring something romantically; If you look at it vigilantly, "frowning" it will work less.
At least in my case after trying several times.

Holy Shit! That shit works. My view was spinning in a slow circle after looking away. It was pretty neat.

At first, I thought I was going to see stuff on the screen while staring at it. Then when it said look away, I looked away but didn't notice anything because I wasn't looking to notice anything. Had to do it again after realizing what the instructions were getting at. It wasn't very clear in the beginning.
