@Alexop, man, I loved your article.

When I think of rereading or redoing something again, it means that it touched my heart.

I love your type of masculine person! 😊

I'll read the other articles as well.

You are welcome! I did not write about the anti-social tech and social isolation aspect, great that Leo pointed it out.

added new line

"Of course all this new addictive anti-social tech play a role in this depravity. When no ambition and pride was instilled in you, you see no point in sacrificing years of your life suffering to become a man. Why should you do that when you can sit inside all day, have lots of fun with your gamer nerds and masturbate on anime porn?"

One of the ironic moments in my life was that I changed my perspective on masculinity as a generally negative thing once I realized that I was actually attracted to it. 😄

Well here you have it, now you understand what we are going through. Think about how many more believe it is "negative"

But yes. That seems to be better than not socializing at all.

That said, nothing substitutes for in-person interactions. And if those sites give the illusion of a socialization fix, that can discourage you from getting out of the comfort zone.

What im saying is not as black and white as, "nothing substitutes for in-person interactions."

Here's what im saying:

  • Online video chat rooms > In person interaction in a small town

  • In person interaction in a city > Online video chat rooms

I corporate now. No more jokes or I report, yes?

Dropped a tear. I did not have that father, my father was a complete mess, an embarrasment that should not have had kids. My grandfather hated him so much that he stopped visiting our home for the last 20 years of his life even if he lived 2 blocks away. This is why I'm afraid to have kids. I was bullied my whole childhood by almost everyone around, my father did not teach me how to behave, how to defend myself, how keep silent when needed, how to talk when needed.

Oh cmon Leo. Sure 60% of people there are just horny, but the remaining 40% just want to meet and make small talk. And this 40% is who im referring to when improving social skills -- for those exceptions who live in small towns

This is literally a clout-brained Youtuber baiting strangers to react for the sweet content ad revenue. Not socializing at all. You'd find better demonstrations of socialization in your average Among Us livestream. Not this hyper-edited zoomer slop

I could spend hours telling you stories about the hatred in my family, among my relatives and other families.

These 1-2 years are the only years that I have had most peace in my life. Before that, too much drama, gossip, control, interdependence, unnecessary and forced responsibilities, etc.

Well, these circumstances make us or break us. Some become men, some become mentally ill.

The only things that have helped me get through all of that stuff has been hope, open-mindedness, love, and understanding.

@Alexop, also, I viewed it generally as a negative thing because, in my culture, a lot of men are toxic.

They are lazy as hell and give in to their aggressive nature. If you ever get close with them, then they will manipulate you and control your life. It's really disgusting how they talk about girls with their boys. And the girls are getting deceived by their initial charm, not knowing how they are ever going to have a stable job and support without relying on their parents. Young people are stupidly wanting to start a family without knowing each other some time and planning their future. Also, you have to meet your girlfriend's brothers and eventually parents unless you want to get beaten up. Both of your families should be generally in agreement, or else you're fucked up and should leave that girl. The parents make their children psychologically dependent on them.

Basic developing world dynamics. Toxic masculinity, nothing to do with real masculinity.

Sure. It's a huge problem, though.

Well, I guess people in the west are focused on minimizing the toxicity rather than creating a healthy one, which ironically can make them toxic to any kind of masculinity.

Tier 1 will always function emotionally and reactionary, swinging from one extreme to the other like a leaf in a hurricane.
