Imo, being social online is very limited compared to being social offline. Although you could meet people with the help of the internet.

There is more to it. It is a change in vibe. The nerdy unattractive vibe I see in young Swedish guys can be noticed in their fathers too, who grew up in the times where the internet was not a thing yet.
