Self deception

There’s no wise way to live life without taking into account self deception: 

imagine living life thinking the earth to be flat. That’s one self deception. 

In your mind you have many self deceptions just as significant as this one. 

At the end of the day it’s all about understanding the nature of what the hell is going on. 

Here’s a list of some juicy self deceptions: 

-Th earth is flat

-external reality 

-external God 

-prophets making miracles, adam and eve... basically all of the bible or the coran if interpreted literally not allegorically is a self deception. 

-the idea that there’s one true religion and the other are false, this is a deception.

-God doesn’t exist, this is tricky because external god doesn’t exist, but God exists.

-self is a self deception, there are no distinction between anything, everything is one, God, Hence death isn’t real, because God cannot die.

-that religion and spirituality is all bullshit and that science is the only way for truth. No science is wrong about the metaphysics and epistemology of reality. Reality is not material, reality is made up of mind and consciousness.

So IOW, since God is everything and the self is a self-deception, there's no self-deception. Make this make sense.

I think it's fair to say any absolute conclusion you come to about anything is a form of self-deception. "Open your mouth and you're wrong."

I left religion (Christianity) in September 2020 after realizing it to be a false religion. I was a believer with my mind trapped inside of a box. As far as I was concerned the KJV version of the bible was the word of God and anything or anyone to contradict the bible was the devil. Soon after I left the faith I wondered what is the truth, why do I exist extra. I have looked into various explanations to explain reality. Many talk about spiritual phenomena, a spirit world, and other metaphysical things. I have watched Loe's videos on consciousness and enlightenment including the solipsism video. I have not seen anything supernatural or metaphysical, nor have I had any awakenings that I am aware of, but I am curious about the possibility. Hopefully, someday, I will experience or witness something that debunks secular materialism without having to rely on someone else’s experience.
