If you have Hashimotos or any autoimmune disorder you should get a prescription for Low Dose Naltrexone. It helps about 70% of people modulate their overactive immune system. It's the best thing I found in 15 years of trying stuff.

Instead or on top of Levothyroxine?

My prescription of Levothyroxne is currently increasing (from 75 mcg to 100 mcg, and now to 125 mcg) because my T.S.H. is still a bit high (4.22 mU/L).

I will make a blogpost about it. It's still too early for me to speak on.

I'll be waiting for your blog post. I wonder if the levothyroxine treatment could be sufficient if the numbers eventually go down, or if Naltrexone would be a better option.

@Clarence On top of.

Levothyroxine is no cure for Hashimotos. Naltrexone actually stops the immune system from attacking the body. So it is a cure, in a sense. Assuming your body responds well to it.

Levothryoxine is not sufficent because with Hashimotos the problem is not that your thyroid numbers are off, the problem is much deeper, in your thyroid anti-bodies, which mean an autoimmune attack is happening. Levothyroxine will not stop the autoimmune attack.

The immune system NEVER attacks the body. It's attacking a virus that is undetected. The virus won't appear on most tests because it burrows deep into the organ tissues.

The autoimmune theory is not proven. It's a hypothesis to explain something that is not understood.

Do whatever your doctor says. But also do MM healing protocols (properly). You will heal within 6 months.

It can't hurt to try.

You have no idea if this is true.

Just a story someone told you.

@Leo Gura

But it makes sense.

Because the body wants to SURVIVE, it will never attack itself. It wants you to live as long as possible as optimal as possible.

Because it's a man-made theory that the body is attacking it self to blame YOU and your genes, not science for not knowing what is going on and how to heal.

It's a better story than "my immune system is attacking my own body."

You have no idea if THAT is true.

There is no evidence that the immune system attacks itself because it doesn't.

Think about it for a few minutes. Why would your immune system ever attack your own body? Do you think your body is that stupid?

The right supplements taken in an intelligent way can absolutely help with it.

Since hashimotos thyroiditis and all thyroid problems are the result of (later stage) viral infection, certain supplements such as liquid zinc sulfate extract can help your body to fight and kill the virus.

If you want a more extensive list of recommended supplements, I can share.

This is exactly incorrect.

Autoimmune conditions are easily explainable through the lens of survival / evolution if you choose. And there is an abundance of scientifc evidence that the immune system does indeed attack the body.

No controversy on this topic exists, except in the mind of alternative health sheep.

Go ahead.

You may also want to touch on why  these conditions are becoming more an more prevalent, along the exact same time horizons as the industrial revolution. It's almost like the rise in toxic chemicals and viruses in our environment correspond with the rise in thyroid issues and other chronic illnesses.

In an ironic twist, it feels like your own mind is acting like an immune system that is attacking information that would help to heal you.

Your mind might do that. But your body wouldn't ever attack you. It does everything in it's power to protect you and keep you healthy. Because your body loves you.

It seems like more women tend to see the value in the MM info. Could it be that they think with their hearts AND their heads?

How about the controversy that there is no cure for this illness? And millions of human beings suffer from it every single day? Do you consider that to be a controversy?

@Leo Gura How are some people able to heal there disease or conditions with meditation and some are not?

Because the body automatically heals itself from most conditions. Which is why you can attribute healing to almost any event: prayer, meditation, dancing, Reiki, supplements, weed, CBD oil, celery juice, or whatever.

Doing nothing will heal you in many cases. Of course not if you have a serious disorder.

When people tell you they got healed by X, mostly they are just deceiving themselves because they haven't done any rigorous scientific analaysis of their own case. They just believe whatever suits their worldview. And people who claim to heal themselves believe in all sorts of fantasies.

It is just a fact that the body is attacking itself. Why it happens is unknown. Could be a thousand reasons. The body is a very complex thing. There is no easy answer. Toxins seem to be a major factor but you can't rid many of them. So what you gonna do?

Look dude, you can just do a google search and learn how autoimmunity works.

https://consensus.app/results/?q=what is autoimmunity%3F&pro=on

https://consensus.app/results/?q=Why does the body attack itself during autoimmune conditions&pro=on

https://consensus.app/results/?q=What causes autoimmunity&pro=on

https://consensus.app/results/?q=Why is autoimmunity rising&pro=on

Don't act like this research doesn't exist. You could spend the next several years going through all these papers, learning more and more about autoimmune conditions and how they work.

You are correct that environmental factors and viruses might generally trigger autoimmune reactions. And yes, Epstein-Barr virus may even play a role in Hashimoto's (https://consensus.app/results/?q=Is Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis caused by the Epstein Barr virus&pro=on).

But this does not mean the body doesn't attack itself because "love". Or because "it wants to survive".

@aurum I understand the mainstream explanations of autoimmunity. I'm saying they are incorrect, as evidenced by the lack of actual cures.

On the flip side, you could spend years studying MM info and realize that mainstream science is in the dark about this stuff. But by the end of it, you would actually have a cure.

That's the difference.

You can tell that the mainstream explanations are incorrect by the general vibe of "maybe it's this, maybe it's this, maybe this, could be this as well, etc."

If environmental toxins did play a role in thyroid issues (which they do), then why do mainstream healing protocols not address them? The same with viruses. Why are these factors not holistically addressed in standard protocols?

It's actually pretty condescending to send me mainstream explanations of autoimmunity as though I wouldn't do my research. I'm trying to say that the mainstream explanation is horrendous compared to the MM explanation. There's a night and day difference not only in clarity and specificity of the cause, but in the effectiveness of the cures.
