Good cheap camera ?

I had to film myself some months ago to do a video in English to improve my oral, and maybe to posting here.

I was lethargic and looked weird anyway because of sleep issues so it took a while and in the meantime my computer battery has grilled and destroyed my motherboard, so now I find myself without computers or my crushes (shitty lol, ok).

Computer butted aside, i need a camera and I have no idea what to get.
I have let's say up to 500 euros of budget, I think that's enough.

If there's a john video engineer who wants to boost his ego a little by enlightening me.
