The most overrated Movies/TV series?

The Dune book itself is overrated. It's got a great theme, setting, and world, but the story is mediocre. I didn't bother finishing it.

The Star Wars Saga.

The end of separation is the end of desire. It’s life, it’s death, it’s unity; it is the absolute. In this profound realization, we find perfection eternal, a state of everlasting harmony.

I would say top 20 IMDB. It's literally just LOTR and Nolan lol

No matter how good or bad a movie is, it never has the right to be pushed so hard everywhere.

The best sci-fi movie? Interstellar.

The best soundtrack? Interstellar.

The best father-daughter film? Interstellar.

The people who are masturbating on it just haven't seen enough movies. End of story.

I’ve been really interested in movies for most of my adult life and have watched way too many of them from various decades. No movie experience, and actually no other experiences either, come close to the first two times I watched Interstellar. It was the movie I had been waiting for my entire life.

You truly must have had a trascending experience there 😂

I get that everytime I watch this touching scene of my favorite movie.

LoTR is the most overrated thing ever.

The whole series is bad and unwatchable. I never understood why anyone liked it.

I have watched many superhero movies (most of them were boring, but a few were not bad), but none of them would reach the level of the movie Logan (2017). That movie was so good.

I agree, Logan was one of the few good ones.

Of course you don't like The Lord of the Rings, because you don't believe in good and evil.

Logan is underrated; I watched it twice in the cinema. However, I no longer watch Marvel or DC movies as they are becoming increasingly childish.

LOTR, imo, was mainly about power, corruption, kindness, and friendship. The movies were heavily symbolic.

Too many people here want to see more realism in movies.

I like the orignal Star Wars.

They made Logan more human, which changed everything.

@FourCrossedWands, which movie styles or genres do you like?

I like almost anything that has good acting and some interesting message.

Some A24 movies are my favorite movies (apart from Hereditary and few others)
