yes, I could feel myself going into that state and mentally would just say no, I don't want to do it.

It’s good one can exit it if you don’t find it pleasant.

Ach du Lieber, so I have been told ... :)

It occurred to me that I should explain that I am a totally benign human being with a slight penchant for slapping ideas around. I've been told that also... :)

I have some theory.

when I was younger, maybe 15 years old or so, I would get sleep paralysis at ridiculously high rates, upwards of 50 times during one year.

during this sleep paralysis I’d always get these intense vibrations, especially on the back up towards the head

then from seemingly nowhere it stopped and I get them rarely since then

My theory is that during that time, there was a lot going on in my energy body , energy system, and those vibrations are kind of the energy going through transformation and healing, being “worked on” during the vibrations, so I would allow them to be, as it felt good and seemed healthy, me being paralyzed and almost asleep in this “in between” state that sleep paralysis is allows for the energy to do its thing. It’s kind of like how the brain processes and heals during the night

then as my energy system got more healed and unblocked, the sleep paralysis would occur more rarely

what y’all think?

I think it's a pretty solid theory. It's similar to my own practices involving meditation, 5-MeO-DMT, kundalini inducement, and a gradual cleansing of the often-unknown energetic system that we all appear to contain. Similar to how other bodily functions work such as respiration and heart rate, where they're not just random but are instead controlled by a sort of inner biological intelligence, the same seems to apply to this energetic excitation which gathers and becomes perceptible as you approach subconscious and superconscious states.

With such a high natural inclination towards spirituality, it could be an amazing journey if you decide to further pursue this kind of thing.

worked at and developed how?

Energy body feeds on energy. The more one opens their heart to God, the more the spirit and grace of God fills your beingness. As your beingness gets filled with more and more light, your energy body expands and intensifies.

Does anyone know what these vibrations are? They feel pleasant somehow. Like a nice massage. Intense vibrations throughout the whole body, more on the back in particular. Up through the head. I can get hallucinations (or maybe sometimes it’s real entities) during this stage, or transition into astral projection from this. I’ve also noticed if you breathe deeper you can intensify the vibrations, and by focusing your attention on different body parts you can concentrate the vibrations there

I used to have a similar experience in my early twenties. I regularly felt powerful vibrations which were shaking my whole body when I was falling asleep, it was conducive to my lucid dream practice. Also, Robert Monroe mentioned a similar experience with vibrations in his book.

I don't know what it was tho.

I wrote about my own theory of my case but other than that I don’t know either . But I think it’s connected to the energy system
