Why Do We Run From Bad Emotions and Feelings.

Posted it before, but I would like to emphasize it again:

Reading Lisa Barret Feldmann re how we construct emotions has been very helpful for me. Understanding process of emotions was a crucial step in order to regain (more) power over my emotional life step by step, little by little. 

And like someone in a previous post said this process made me more comfortable in the role I am playing in this drama :D

I think you misunderstood me here. I was implying that it was normal to not always be in a positive mood and that its unhealthy to expect otherwise. I agree this whole topic has to do with expectations.

Ok. For sure we have to accept what is, as a natural thing, not an intellectual exercise, if You down in the dumps, that is the way it is right now, accept it with Ease.

I like to look at this stuff from a Third person POV, overall empowering emotions are healthy, disempowering ones are not so healthy. In one camp there are those that think we should feel all the emotions we are capable of having, I see the point here its like "why limit myself to just empowering emotions, I want to feel all of it", the other camp is "I just want to feel good all the time", the cool part about being human is that You can choose btwn both or neither, feel numb all the time is another option, its up to the individual really.  Personally, I've had depression and anxiety, never want to go back there again, so its empowering emotions and experience is all I really want to have...

I very much understand what you mean. 

Another way is to realize that they are energies in emotion and belong to no one. That's a little too farfetched for the "I" energy to grasp because everything felt belongs to it. But i'm with you on that.

Lol. That's why I put a "lol". Nothing serious here and she actually makes me laugh sometimes. She says the same things over and over in her videos with some slight changes here and there; but like you said, kind of relaxing and something to watch.

Not to mention it's the most accurate video that pertains to spirituality you will ever hear, and that's why it's not popular and you don't find it interesting because it has nothing for the ego to gain. This is why I don't usually share stuff like this; what's the point.
