Latest Ukraine/Russia Thread

We have been fed a giant pile of lies that Russia has suffered more causalities than Ukraine and it is time we call this out.

What if Ukrainian soldiers are dying at bigger numbers compared to the Russians? What if it is a huge lie?

The only point that people raise to continue this losing war is, "Afterall Russia is suffering massive causalities". Russians have air superiority, more artillery, soldiers, well-armed, well trained and a good leadership that learns from mistakes and reorients their strategies. There is no human meat wave tactics employed here.

Ukraine had around 15 mobilization campaigns and it should concern you where are all these soldiers going. Because Russia is pulverizing their army, and they are having to keep rebuilding it from the scratch again and again.

We need to take a hard look at the numbers. Russia:120-150k Ukraine: 500k+

That sounds untrue when you compare it with the numbers coming out of Ukraine which had dominated western press. The Truth is the no one can validate these numbers. Neither me nor you.

My point here is that Russia to Ukraine casuality ratio could very well be 1:5 in advantage of Russia.

Russia sucks at logistics, professionalism, tech, and corruption. They can't even arm their troops properly. Sending in hordes of psychopath convicts to storm trenches! Threatening to shoot their own men! It's an amature hour shitshow.

Isn't the USA also using prisoners to stop the California wildfires as we speak?

Sure Ukraine is much smaller. Less authoritarian. Much poorer. Less backwards. Gave up nukes. Less powerful. Less expansiony. It’s not looking great for Ukraine right now. But it’s also looking very bad for Russia in the longer term.

Poorer, I assume, you mean in natural resources, yeah I'd agree with that assesment though Ukraine produces a whole lot of grain.

I guess the outcome will be determined by who gives up first. Who can endure attritional war better and for longer. But yall already know this I'm sure. This is all just one giant tug of war.

Who would've knew just a few years ago this war would happen and it would be so goddamn bloody and long as well. And occuring right in the European neighbourood/back garden. Still can't believe this is happenning really

You’re just planting seeds of doubt. There are thousands of hours of combat footage, drone shots, that says otherwise to what you’re saying but you ignore evidence. What evidence do you have that Russia has less losses? You bring zero substance to everything you say here and just throw up straw men contrarian speaking points backed by nothing. Please share your reasoning why Russia has less death count. My argument is 1) thousands of hours of drone footage showing Russian waves of soldier attacking defensive positions 2) Russian recruitment tactics and news from within the country talking of minorities being drafted in mass. What makes you think Ukraine has more deaths. I can provide sources from credible institution NGOs if needed.

And that’s logically speaking Russia because much bigger population, less caring about human lifes , throwing poorer region ethnics and north koreans into the meat grinder.

What speaks for Ukraine is that they are being attacked, so they know they are fighting for a very good reason/survival. And western tech to a certain extent.

But generally it mostly depends on the US, China and to some extent especially long term Europe. Russia couldn’t do this without China seemingly they’d be too isolated.

But generally there are almost no good outcomes for this war. Probably over a million people already perished.

@Bobby_2021 If I see you post any more factual misinformation in this sub-forum you will be blocked from posting in the Politics sub-forum. So watch yourself. Your political bias has gotten out of hand. There is a limit to what we will put up with here. People are complaining about you to me.

I think it’s the right way to go. Europe can’t really rely on the US for safety. For Europeans we’re stuck here with Russia as a neighbour. While the US is far away.
