@Ishanga In traditional Buddhism there has always been two main threads of reaching enlightenment.  One is study and the other is just do it.  I've always been a just do it kind of person in the realm of religiosity.  I like it and I agree with you quite a bit on your perspective.

Getting poopoo'ed on the head by birds is something that happens to me way too often.  And it ain't me doing it, it is the damn birds. Though it is supposed to be a sign of good luck...well, I'm still waiting.

I/We are a part of "Life", you see the word "Life" does not mean I am all powerful, all knowing, all creation, and everywhere, so the word "God" as I said to Davino is not the right word, We are Life, the Bird is Life, Shit is Life, it is just that as a Human we are the most capable when it comes to Consciousness/Awareness that we are this Life and it is fundamentally everything, and we have Free Will to choose how to respond to getting shit on by birds!

When you proclaim something, that means other are going to interpret it and judge it, so the words You use are very important if You want to communicate what You experience as Truthfully as possible, using the word God as a description of Yourself will not be a truthful definition of what You are since God to billions of ppl means all powerful, all knowing, omnipresence Being...

The most irresponsible thing you can do is walk around and feel happy - His reflection.

If we are going meta: Responsibility is in his head. Miserable is in his chest. Happy is in his chest. He's not walking anywhere the universe is. He then assigns what that facial expression is, what that mood leads to, and what the result of that is going to be or at the very least what he focuses on.

I've done some of the most enriching healing of my life in miserable states. Putting a happy face on when alone or depressed was the WORST ADVICE I was EVER GIVEN. I understand in public smiling can lift moods, but it also traps emotions inside your body that get stuck and then recreate the events that led to them until you go back into them.

I think You are misinterpreting what he said, he is saying being miserable if the  most irresponsible thing, he is not saying to put on a happy face when out is public or in private, so the two are not related.

If You are One with this Universe of Yours, or what I would call Truth/Reality/Absolute, then no suffering is possible in your experience. Pain can happen, You can still stub your toe and feel pain, or lose a luv'ed one and feel the pain of it, suffering is different from pain, suffering is Human made and it is reliving the pain of the past over and over again, that is a self created thing, its disempowering and unhealth for our Body, Mind, Emotions and Energy systems, being Blissful is the opposite, it empowers all those things that make You what You are!

Bravo!!

They use the word "God" because deep down its feel empowering for them to do so, they can say God does not mean all powerful, all knowing and such, but in reality that is how they define it in their subconscious/unconscious psyche/mind, so therefore identifying with it makes them feel very powerful, which in the end is a control problem, and  is narcissistic, especially when You add in the "I am the only one existing, and I am imagining everything/everyone else" belief...

Taking Yourself to seriously results in ppl that have this sort of outlook and it affects their relationships and how they function in the world, Taking Yourself LIghtly, I am just a piece of life, I am here a very short period of time, what I am doing, or who I am does not really mean anything, makes one feel at Ease, no pressure, no control problem, no personality disorders, just Ease of Life, like a cool breeze on a hot summer day!

Oh for sure, I am, I never said I was a master of it, but I recognize it within me and promote things that are beyond my current awareness level for the overall good of everyone!

on the contrary, all of Us are embodied Truth, when You go into deep sleep every night, what is keeping Your Heart Beating, Your Blood pressure balanced, the hormones and chemistry flowing thru Your system (some millions of chemistry releases per second), what is controlling or monitoring all of this, and this is just the physical aspect of our embodiment. Sadhguru is not a God, never claimed he was, I am anti God by the way, he is just one of the most Conscious Being Alive today, that is all, and he shares methods on how to get there as well with all interested!

People who use the word god do it because they cannot conceive reality outside the cause/effect paradigm, therefore if there is something appearing now it is because someone has created it. If reality has no limits, that creative something must necessarily be me, since without limits there is no duality, and if I am, I am God, it is obvious. Why can't I levitate? because I hide from myself my ability to have a human experience, it is the only possible explanation.

The problem is at the root, there is no cause, there is no creator, there are no reasons for reality to exist, only the absence of limits. apparent reality truly is apparent in contrast to the infinite, and only the infinite is real in the sense that the forms are just forms, but the infinite does not create the forms, nor does it care what they are, but it contains all the forms and each one of them is the total infinity, then everything have the same essence and i am that essence, and you can totally realize it now, but in infinity nothing have meaning because any meaning is relative to anything else, then there can't be any reason for any creation since there are infinite relative things, so all the movement is apparent, then God is just a relative idea

@Breakingthewall Then how do you explain irreducible complexity? My awakenings have shown me God has justified absolutely everything. The cause / effect paradigm can be rationally understood as necessary. If a thing happens and there was no cause, you have nonsense.

Therefore, existence is eternal, and the causal chain is infinitely long.
