@Sandhu In many ways it could be a blessing in disguise to be 'stuck' in an environment that you don't connect with. ie less social distraction and more motivation to wake up even more. Eventually it's inevitable that you'll either find yourself in different surroundings or become more okay with things as they are. Perhaps there's some deeper purpose in being there right now that's yet to be revealed. What is the real value in the experience you are having there ? Because on some level you wanted this experience. You don't need to be living in a first world country to have an enjoyable experience of life. ps being around normies is often the best cure for spiritual ego.

Sounds like bullshit. There are very shitty environments that the person didn't choose in tge slightest, and that are objectively bad for a human. Would you say this to someone in a  concentration camp?

Every experience is serving you in some way. And we're imagining the whole thing, right ? So yes, we wanted to experience it all more than we know. But of course if you're in a real shitty situation, do your best to get the hell out of there.

I suspect that is more perception of the jobs than the actual jobs themselves

Because, you can have creative fulfillment, can be great for flow states, mastery, good teams/clients, $$, make great friends. There's a lot of benefits with them

That is true that you might spend time on the computer but I feel like there are jobs for everyone and can be potentially quite fulfilling.

What I meant there was that sedentary lifestyle is hell for me.

I know it too well that I can't fit in the  society.

I wouldn’t ever compare one life to another. I can’t even imagine the unique challenges all you folks on here go through that live in these red/blue places.

@Lyubov I often wander how much most westerns misunderstand the East and especially Muslims and Islam.

Usually people of west don't have a good understanding of politics, values, cultures and life in east. But, for eastern people, usually very easy. I Don't  understand why is it this way.

Be apart of that change in that country. You said it yourself that you are above average intelligence. Join a political group, rise up the ranks, and influence it in the direction you think is best. Use actualized methods like spiral dynamics, God, etc , to EFFECTIVELY (without getting yourself killed) be a leader in that country.

It's not meaningful for me. Politics is a dirty survival business. I wish for the  psychological development of my people and I'll surely work in that direction. Thanks, you highlighted a good point.

@Sandhu It’s hard in some of these developing countries to find a mate. The ratio between men and women is very skewed towards men

I would focus on what you can control and build connection around being of service to the community

It's relatively easy to find someone for marriage but dating scene and casual relationship opportunity is limited and sometimes quite dangerous. I'm talking in the context of my Islamic country.

I guess you are right, I look forward to move to a big city where the situation  is less rigid and people are more liberal though I can't afford it yet but sooner or later I'll be able to. At this point, community service looks a silly idea to me. I'm pretty much very selfish right now cos I need to build a good life for me and my family.

@Sandhu, I think values determine whether you'll give value to some group of people or not. The positive thing about having different values from your people is that you can easily see that values affect how you see reality, but they think it's just how it's supposed to be. And there are other benefits.

Almost everything you said there also apply to so called "liberal countries". Yes there's an improvement I'm not denying this (particularly that it's not a literal warzone generally..) but the problems you mentioned are still around. The good laws we have (in Canada) cannot be enforced unless you're already rich. No one seem to give a fuck about poor people either and big companies violating labor laws, in fact they all seem to be in on it. They find it perfectly acceptable that a lawyer makes $500 an hour meanwhile an Uber drivers makes less than min wage.

If someone does give a fuck about social programs they get called a murderer or communist that rob people.. but somehow it's okay and respectable for the "elites" to rob?? (Such as dentists, certain doctors, lawyers, psychologists, some tradespeople, real estate agents, government administrators with high salaries)

Eh idk about other "liberal democracies" but Canada is conservative as fuck when it comes to dating, you're looked down on for not wanting traditional relationships. There are tons of immigrants here too that hold similar beliefs.
