Jeez man. This is not how it goes down in our culture. I was a university drop out. Went back and then never used my degree. Now I work in an industry that is low on the social ladder but no one cares. Their love for me is not dependant on my job or how much I get paid. Their love is unconditional. So they're quick to understand and be supportive, just like white families.
