Do you have a bedtime routine? I’m usually pretty beat after dinner.

Title says’ all. I’ve been trying to align for some time now with a bedtime routine, such as journaling, but I’m usually feeling pretty tired after dinner and resort to some more mindless activities, such as scrolling the internet, watching clips and non-dual videos on Youtube (i guess that’s not so mindless but doesn’t require much effort on my part) or animal videos on Instagram (they’[ve gotten pretty great since AI), however I will usually sit for like 10 minutes but at this stage meditating doesn’t even feel like routine anymore. How important is a bedtime routine for success? If you do have a bedtime routine please share it!

for me it's pretty simple, i just write down what i need to accomplish for the next day (top 3 tasks).

it makes it easier in the morning bc it sets direction for me immediately

my day breaks down like this: first third is me time, second third i do work duties and worldly tasks, third third is wind down

wind down is dinner, meditation, work out, walk about, bathroom tasks readying for bed and next day, then 2-ish hrs of per-bed relaxation consuming any desired mindless media
