Help me understand the liberal mind

Seeing as though this forum is pretty much a liberal echo chamber, surely someone here can help me understand the thought process behind the leftist or liberal/progressive mind. I just cannot understand how anyone could support Kamala for president.

I've seen too many videos of people polling leftists and they ask "why Kamala?" the response is always, 1. because...fuck trump, or 2. because you know, she's a woman.   When the same people are asked " what's your favorite policy that Kamala helped implement in the last 4 years?" answer: ....... crickets... Uh, you know.... I dunno really.  I am aware that these videos are probably made by biased individuals too.

I think too many people are focused on the candidates character. To me that is completely irrelevant. So what if you think Trump is a liar or a womanizer. So is Kamala. ALL politicians are liars. Again, that is irrelevant. The only important thing to consider in my humble opinion is, who did the job better? who actually DID what they said they would do? Was the country a better place to live under biden/harris or trump? be honest. To me it's totally obvious. Everything was better under trump. Lower taxes, better economy, cheaper fuel and groceries. No new wars started under trump. A secure border. measures to become energy independent. Actively trying to stop human and child trafficking...Dems have had control for 12 of the last 16 years, and what do you have to show for it? more taxes and endless wars. open borders. reckless spending...

Why are you so confident in a woman that refuses to do an interview unless it's a liberal reporter teeing up softball questions. Why do you need notes at a debate? Does this give you confidence in her? the democrat party obviously isn't confident in her, that's she is so heavily guarded and never answers questions directly.

If you ask me, a vote for Harris is a vote for open borders. Do you like all the ex convicts and gang members entering our countries illegally, getting free housing, cell phones and credit cards ( paid for by our taxes) so they can take over apartment complexes with AR-15s and rape and murder our women  and children? The border czar says she will fix it. Well why didn't she fix it already? You know you are still in office right now Kamala? the president is a vegetable on vacation right now, and you are not doing any media. You have plenty of free time. You want us to believe you? then DO SOMETHING about it. Get a bill moving on secure borders and no taxes on tips. A vote for harris is a vote more reckless spending and higher inflation. A vote for Harris is a vote for endless wars and giving all our tax dollars to foreign countries when we can't even take care of our own citizens.  A vote for Harris is essentially a vote for socialism/communism.

So please. Help me understand, why Kamala? Answer without saying, because she's a woman, because she's a democrat, because fuck trump. why do you like HER POLICIES better? And I can understand if you can't explain her policies, they don't make them clear or public at all. They are running all off of media propaganda and hype. DId you see the DNC? it was "ELECTRIC"! How many times did the reporters get told to say electric during the broadcasts. Ask Alexa. Why is trump a good candidate. Alexa answers, I cannot provide any info on that query. Ask Alexa why is Kamala a good candidate? Alexa gives you a long answer. 6 months ago the media was calling here the vice president with the worst approval rating of ALL TIME. Now in the last 2 months she's our saving grace. The media really thinks we are that stupid. So again. Help me understand the liberal thought process. I just don't get it. Maybe you think tampons in the boys bathrooms is a really good idea and that pushes you over the hump?

And just FYI I am not a republican. I have voted 3rd party my entire voting life. I voted Trump the last 2 elections. In the past the both parties were corrupt and there was no difference. Didn't matter who you voted for, it's all theatre anyway. President's are selected, not elected. Trump is the only president in the last 100 years who was not a member of the Bilderberg group, the Council of Foreign Relations, Trilateral Commission, Yale University's Skull & Bones, or some other secret society. There is plenty of video evidence of these politicians at Bohemian Grove meetings. It's not a secret. This is not conspiracy theory. Why do you think the media has smeared Trump since day 1? Cuz he's not a politician. He won't "play ball". He's not in bed with all the pharmaceutical lobbies.

 

I'm not here to debate right versus left. I could care less who you vote for. I just want to understand the liberal mind. Because I have my biases. And surely there are some good talking points you guys have that I have not considered yet. I am open to change. But I just can't see how you can say with a straight face that the country was better under democratic presidential control.

Also, doesn't it bother you that you are the "democratic" party and your candidate was selected and not elected? Nothing says "save democracy" like a candidate that you didn't vote for and are told to vote for.

Any chance there was of me supporting Trump in 2024 evoporated with all the fake stolen election nonsense and Jan 6.

He is forever disqualified from being president again as far as I am concerned because of that.

Someone who has consumed as much right-wing media content as you cannot be reasoned out of your position.

Why Kamala? Because she did not try to overthrow a fair legal democratic election through violent insurrection, sedition, and fraud.

Law and order. I'm sure you can appreciate why we should not vote for a convicted felon for President.

Leftists drown in relativism. They don’t have an objective grip on reality.

They don’t know what a woman is. It’s for everyone to define.

They soak up information without giving it much critical thought and a healthy dose of skepticism.

They show a lack of respect for themselves by being overly tolerant because they think being tolerant is objectively better for society and would not yield any further problems.

They like to suppress your voice, censor you, de-platform you, help you lose your job. Usually this sort of reaction and punishment does not fit the severity of the action which triggered it.

They do not understand human emotions. They do not understand that other people are responsible for how and what they feel, not them. People could choose to not be offended if they did not have such a fragile undeveloped ego.

They are easy to bully, manipulate, troll, mock, make fun of because their weakness is them not being able to handle that sort of thing if done well.

They are usually louder and more extreme than the right despite them claiming the opposite be true.

They are short sighted despite claiming to be more enlightened.

They believe that problems are better resolved through more control over more freedom and open communication. They don’t want to know why you said or did a certain thing. They just want to control it because they believe it’s bad.

They feel like the hero which fights the bully by adopting the persona of a bully.

They don’t indulge in conspiracy theories. Facts have the most weight to them even if the authenticity of said facts or sources is hard to verify.

They believe in authority and the communities they form are authoritarian by nature. This is something the right is also guilty of but far less prominent.

They are more globalists and less nationalists. They belong but feel like they don’t.

They feel oppressed by things which endanger their beliefs. They often use and weaponise oppression. They like to play the victim and blame others.

They do not understand freedom of speech and what it entails. They cling on words which have lost their meaning because times have changed.

They usually have a worse sense of humour because the mental filter prohibits them from making distasteful, bad, dark jokes and are overly concerned with how others would perceive them.

They like to label people over minor offences. Say a certain word and you’re automatically a racist, homophobe, transphobe, fascist, neonazi, etc.

They jump to conclusions very quickly and are guilty of making assumptions. They don’t like giving people the benefit of the doubt for the most part.

They have a hard time drawing the line between what construes as mental illness and what doesn’t because everything is so relativistic in their minds and lacks definition.

They make a bad judge. They have way too many biases.

This is what I’ve observed as a result of being on the yellow SD tier. This is my personal experience and opinion.

Yet these are still very valid questions to which you have no counter.  Proving his point that the best answer the left has is 'it's not OrangeMan!'  I 100% understand not wanting Trump in office, but Kamala has made it very clear she is not fit in the least to run the country.  Her only 'policies' are the ones she is told to have. Democrats have really fucked themselves this time.

Leo, you didn't answer my question. You answered with, Trump did this... What do you like about HER? do you like her letting illegals in the country at record pace? Do you like the current state of America better than Trumps term? If so WHY?

 

I don't consume much mainstream media at all. Albeit some. I have eyes. I know what the last 4 years were like cuz I lived through it. It doesn't take a genius to see how bad this country has become. If you won't admit that, then why? why was it better under Biden. I AM open to change. But I can't change if no one gives me an argument.

You guys in this forum are clearly bright minds, much more advanced in spirituality than me. I respect your opinions. I want to hear your side. I could be missing something. Just cuz I have an opinion doesn't mean I'm chained to it.

So Trump's "insurrection" disqualifies him in your eyes. Yet Zuckerberg admitting him and the FBI colluded in the 2020 election means nothing. That's all fine. Cheating is so democratic

I understand the left. I could give you an example.

Let’s take the concept of family for instance.

Conservatives have a strong opinion and a rigid definition of what a family is — mom dad son daughter — they care about it, find it important and valuable.

Liberals on the other hand, do not have a strong opinion on family. To them building a family is optional, sometimes unnecessary. Their definition of family is also loose. So loose actually that you end up not knowing who the mother and father is.

Which is more valuable to a person would depend on their background, culture, upbringing etc.

The thing is, this translates to every facet of reality. Liberals have loose definitions for everything because to them the world is such that you perceive it as.

Who are you to tell me that I am fat if I self identify as skinny you fatphobic bigot?
