It’s a lot of effort for not that much, i just would take LSD lol.

I know Joe Dispenza sells (and share in his book) guided meditations and techniques for trigger « mystical experiences ».

Activating pineal gland by pushing spinal fluid in head and this kind of thing.

I can’t do psychedelics for now that’s the thing.

Thanks for the suggestions.

3 hour meditation finished. Tonight I looked at the timer just so slightly less than list time so it’s a step in the right direction. What I like about meditation is that the subtle frustration of meditating takes over and you forget about all your problems.

Did 3 hour meditation yesterday. Took a little break after one hour because I felt tired and considered whether I should go to sleep instead, but then I regained energy and decided to continue my session.

I managed for the first time to meditate for an hour without looking at the timer. In total I looked at the timer a little bit less than last time so I’m making progress.

My goal with this meditation is to one day experience some kind of mystical experience. Enlightenment would be the ultimate goal though.

49: Non duality in everyday life

I believe that the average human experiences a sort of non duality in their life when they for example enter a flow state. When they are so immersed in something for example playing a video game or working that they become selfless for a moment, forget themselves. Yes we all have a sense of self (unless enlightened) but I don’t think the average humans feels they exist every second, it’s more an on and off thing, stronger and weaker at times depending on activity. So in a sense we all have glimpses from time to time I believe. But enlightenment is when those selfless states become permanent.
