Doing something sustainable that I love to do and earning money in the process?

I need to do some self inquiry on the whole money / vocation domain of life. Basically where I'm struggling is my understanding of money, vocation and the actions we take to earn money.

I would like my actions I take to

1) earn money

2) something I enjoy doing / my inherent genius gifts & uniqueness / deep meaning to what I'm doing

3) support the lifestyle I want to live / be reasonably sustainable

The problem I am creating though is the actions I take may only have 1, maybe 2 of the things I listed above. I'm trying to reconcile this misalignment. How can I go about resolving this and get money energy flowing into my life in a way I love?

Right now my current work is just 1) and 3) but not 2) at all and I realized I want all 3.

Can you clarify what you mean by “support the lifestyle I want to live”? It sounds similar to number two.

I'm talking logistics here. I love to travel so I would hope it would be online for example. I'm also OPEN MINDED to discovering new things and finding out I'm open to new lifestyles, so for example I have been open to the idea of doing something in nature to earn money. So by supports my lifestyle I mean I want it to support me while I travel. I don't want to have to go into an office ever or be tied down by my job to one place. My dream actually is to make travel content and content for youtube and earn money from anywhere making videos. I have a channel and over 10k followers but I still haven't figured out how to monetize it or build it in a direction that is creatively authentic and is set up in a way which supports my life and is adaptable.

Have you put into Chat GPT.

Taking into account:

Your interests.
Things that inspire you.
Your hates.

Be as specific as you can with each.

Then ask it for 20 business ideas based on the above information. I did this in one message to it. Then the following in different messages:

  • Afterwards ask it to list these 20 ideas in order of the costs required to start them up.
  • Then when you have a few, ask it for some product ideas for these businesses you've picked etc.
  • Ask it for ideas how to source these items or their materials cheaper.

That's how I got onto my current business idea, I improved it myself afterward but it was a good catalyst.

Yes, to a degree I want it to help people and I want to connect with other people who share my values.
