I consider myself a New-Ager, but only because my definition of New Age is a catch-all-term for spiritual but not religious, individualist spirituality where the practitioner doesn't cling to one tradition.

That’s actually what I’ve been really enjoying about the tantric perspective. Yes, be deeply rooted in the formless. But don’t reject the form, fully infuse your consciousness into that form. Feel it. Live it. Live the human experience.

What are genuine experience and conjecture? The difference between these is often overlooked.

You are extrapolating with the formless thing. "No-belief" as a state is not a negative and a lack of something; it empowers rather than diminishes. You'd still be able to operate and interact free from belief's domination. Whenever a belief is let go of, your presence is freed and somehow becomes more authentic.

You can indeed reach the formless despite the presence of multiple egoic forms in the same room, or despite deriving practices and principles strictly from one kind of doctrine like a good religious boy. In fact, sometimes that is even the better alternative (in my opinion). And in fact, it's really unavoidable: the only question is if you indeed prefer your own eclectic mix or the original package (or the mix that you got passed down from some other eclectic talking head on YouTube, like the good religious boy you are).

We should work on this concept vs actuality business, and on principles.

Describing a dynamic is different from what you did above, I'd say. Why bring up this formless-nothingness subject? Is that what you guys presume eliminating a belief entails? 

It's more like having your cup emptied––being open. The cup (your experience) doesn't go away.

I would say both my personality and life purpose are at a strong opposition with New Age beliefs/ social Dynamics, despite having extremely strong spiritual experiences, dozens of trips, and a very deep love for nature.

I cannot stand conformity and could care less about being part of a group. I am open to and have experienced paranormal/ siddhis. But as someone highly-technical, the new age thinking and rhetoric on these topics is just making me cringe.
 

I seek understanding, so I can engineer the next paradigm. I work 9-10h days with passion and could care less about “going with the flow”.
