Being in nature is usually the most prominent thing for getting me out of my head, or at least more in tune with my thoughts.

I have done all kinds of experiments and none of them work. Only one thing works, dissolving the self. There are people who suffer a lot mentally, it is a condition, a kind of OCD, an energetic configuration of the personality that arises in adolescence and remains. This can lead you to addictions, or maybe to being a great athlete or professional, but driven by trying to escape your self-inflicted suffering.

The only thing that really works is meditation (psychedelic including) and the opening of your being, the end of contraction, of energy focused on the self. This has the enormous advantage that it places you at the level of the total, beyond the human. It makes you able to look at death in the face, erase the past and perceive the flow of reality. here and now reality is in unfathomable depth, and all the stories of the ego are a screen that veils this reality. the barrier must fall and the depth manifest. the mind must move away, the structures cannot remain, since they are the barrier. There is no other way, everything else is false paths.

For me has been a hard work, but at the end you start getting it. It's a work of purification of the mind, remove all the identities, and the clutches that we use to function, and be here and now without mind, then you are open and you are rich, because from you the reality sprouts. A while later you go back to the usual shit and you are miserable again, in need of things, of love, of understanding, with resentment, lack, sadness and confusion. a rollercoaster a little unbalancing, but I don't see any alternative

Oh yeah, had tons of those, all energetic blocks, Freud would call it being anal-retentive
But you can also call it OCD, Perfectionism, Rigidity, Anxiety, Conformity, Caution
It's all fear masquerading as Depression, Mysophobia, Impulsivity, Confusion
It's all pure unintegrated fear psychology manifesting rigidified patterns
It's a pain in the ass, somatic hyper-vigilance tuned out of intuition
A type of body coordination double-check centralization
But you can solve it luckily enough, takes a lot
Just gotta do massive psychedelic trips
Take lots and lots of dissociatives
Then some shadow work
Integrate stage coral
Then boom
Gone!
😁

@MarioGabrielJ seems like you are too stuck in your head and your heart is closed. Your words are full of "mind" thinking. Mind cannot see beauty, only heart can. 🙏

I think dissolving the (EGO) entirely might strip away these valuable aspects, potentially leading to a loss of meaning or direction in life.

Whether it’s complete self-dissolution or total ego dominance, either extreme can be destabilizing. A balanced approach that allows for both self-awareness and moments of transcendence might be more sustainable in the long term. This middle path could offer the benefits of both self-dissolution and self-expression without the rollercoaster effect you describe.

The end of separation is the end of desire. It’s life, it’s death, it’s unity; it is the absolute. In this profound realization, we find perfection eternal, a state of everlasting harmony.

Embracing both can lead to a deeper, more meaningful connection, I don’t believe that only heart can do such a thing.

The system went down while typing a thoughtful reply, so, to reiterate it has been viewed as a choice to be physical to enhance spiritual consciousness.  The bible metaphorically suggests in the eyes of God all sins are equal.  It makes sense from the perspective our physical lives are only reasonable facsimiles of reality.  Nothing more than a restricted playing field.

I am not a crybaby!
