What are your thoughts on frequency and vibration?

15 posts in this topic

I was wondering why a big part of the spiritual community talk about frequencies and vibrations whilst another big part does not. I don't think I've ever heard Leo talk about it, neither Eckhart Tolle. Are they using different terms for the same thing or why is it that some talk about it and some don't? What are your thoughts on frequencies and vibrations?

Has to do with Sounds and Mantras, research that sort of thing, every Physical thing in existence is vibrating and has a sound frequency. I guess some just don't go in the direction...

Frequency and vibration are terms often use figuratively. It is a language that I see more natural to those that are more 'kinesiologic-perceiver'. The majority of humans have a perception bias towards Vision, a minority towards hearing, and there are other perception-biases. This type of understanding has been develop in the field of education - so to understand the different ways people learn.

I learned this stuff decades ago and have process a lot of related factors that goes beyond the different types of learning. So I will jump to some of my more digested and conclusive understanding specific to your question.

What I call a 'kinesiologic-perceiver' is someone that is highly tuned-in to his or her 'inner-feelings' that act as an intuitive guiding system from which they navigate in the world. They feel everything, and what they feel is difficult to put into words. The word 'vibration' works for them, because it resemble to how it 'feels' or how they perceive the world. Frequency is just another word for the same thing but that can be used to provide a more detailed expression of a feeling.

I think this type of language is more common among spiritual people because in that community there is probably a much higher percentage of 'kinesiologic-perceiver' than in the general population.

vibration frequency = mood = body shaking. Body shaking creates aura field. Aura is what you are looking through to see reality so it defines how you see it.

The more scientifically minded people will use the terms of frequency and vibration and quantum mechanics they are all good and logical terms for scientifically minded people

But in the end it's all the same thing it doesn't contradict spirituality it's just a physical model for better understanding spirituality for scientifically minded people

And it's a very good and valid model for the scientific world we're living in

As Nicholas Tesla firstly said

If you want to understand the secrets of the Universe you gotta think in terms of energy, frequency, vibration

The ones who use: "Oh look at these practical aesthetic words to Describe the emotio-sensory fabric of psychic existence!"

The ones who don't use: "Wtf is this woo-woo shit, frequency, chakras, what's next? crystals & gemstones radiating love?!"

For those paying close attention to the details, it's obvious a fusion needs to occur between our understandings of physics and genuine spiritual phenomena. Scientists like Tesla were clearly aware of this, at least on some level.

It all went downhill when Alchemy was phased out and wizards exchanged their dope robes for labcoats 😞

But then we had a psychedelic revolution! 🤩 But then love and peace were made illegal 😞

I always had the feeling that New Agers just co-opted scientific words to make their ideas sound legitimate and rigorous. You get the same with the word "quantum".

I think parts of the spiritual world love scientific ideas like: everything is energy, even matter is transformed energy/ energy in a condensed state. This would then somehow confirm Advaita Vedanta/monism etc. And it is a small step then to the New Age creed that 'everything is connected' (everything is just desubstantized flux).

Similarly, basic physics ideas that vibrations carry energy and that higher frequencies correspond to higher energy levels can bolster more metaphysical/spiritual ideas. Though it's easy to take those conceps out of context.

Perhaps the reason that Leo and Tolle don't talk about this is that ultimately spirituality (in their view) is not so much about propositional knowledge as it is about direct experience (of truth).

The most basic duality:    0 and 1     or     yes and no     etc. however you want to call it.
The play of this is what vibration is. Everything is based on this interplay.

Im pretty sure i heard Eckhart Tolle talk about it, but it is not a part of his usual language.

You can find it in the teaching of Leo too, altough he does not speak of it directly if i remember correctly.

Cant bring up examples, because it would make me think about it hours and hours on end. lol

Edit: when I say vibration, I'm talking about waves. Same thing really

It's basically pointing towards what you are putting out into the universe. If you are putting out limited beliefs, then what you will receive are thoughts and ideas which might not be very effective at creating a good life.
