Practical Spirituality!

I want to share this because its down to Earth, Practical, it affects One's daily life...

A Big Problem I see around here is all this Absolute, Infinity, Death talk, stuff that is really not in anyone's daily experience, only when You take a Drug, which in the end is a very Dangerous way to live, rely on something outside of You to bring You to a place, then coming back and thinking this is the Reality, very dangerous and disempowering.. Yes the psychedelics can help at a certain point of development, but that development has to be established first, Your Stable Emotionally (why is it in all the trip reports there is a feeling of great anxiety and fear in the beginning? This is because there is no emotional base of stability established, no sober realization of what life is about, so its dangerous to function in this way) First and Foremost, You have had a natural Awakening to Reality and Life situations, not always relying on trip reports and someone looked upon as a leader to tell you the way it is...

In this video Sadhguru talks and shares about Real things, everyday happens, in real time and life, how to be happy, how to be Responsive rather than Reactive, how to Lead and Manage, simple stuff but it is just the basis of Your life, much more important than the Absolute and Infinity which for the most part are just Ideas one has in their heads!

A message like this will fall on deaf ears. This is just how this community is. It's what I see as a fairly immature, near-sided place but it's also just my opinion and from many peoples' point of view here this is their path and they are settled in on the language and approach that Leo has largely set for this site. It's not a problem, I just see it as difference. if you want to take part in what may be labeled here as "practicality", go to the dating section, business section and sometimes the personal development section. I'll see you there!

Unfortunately True, its a certain kind here, but I'm only sharing maybe someone will pick up on it and change, what else can one do eh?

I am pointing this issue on the forum.

We see 18-30 year humans who doesn't have his/her shit together talking about god realization, ego death but they don't know how to build a sustainable professional life, make money, find a partner.

Very concerning.

Spirituality is a double edge sword. 

We don't have to blame Leo for this because he is not responsible for what we do or not.

Spirituality as a means to escape reality is a fucking trap.

Many times I have read  posts from people and it made allot of sense, I thought "Hey this person is really on their way", then they post how they are in a park somewhere during the weekday, mid afternoon, taking some pill that gives them some experience of God, lol, and they are on here everyday for hours, it sort of is revealing.. I come here when I'm off, but I have a work and family life, so there's a balance of sorts but for some it really is needed to take care of the basics and drop all of this absolute stuff, its too much at times and I feel for them in a way, its too bad it is this way, its a reflection of a society that wants its citizens to be zombies unfortunately!

True spirituality is within the plot of life. There's no greater spirituality than being engaged in whatever the heart is calling to - be that making money, building a great relationship, exercising, et cetera.

Of course the heart might also call for serious psychedelic exploration or intense meditation.

The heart knows what is best at the moment. If it tells you to go for that ICE, that's the way. It's cretinic to try to force things and "be spiritual" at all costs. All will unfold naturally.

People don't understand the FLOW OF LIFE in this forum. Leo doesn't as well, or at least he doesn't preach it and due to this the forum is as autistic as it is. Too fucking intellectual and detached from the plot. Too little heart and down-to-earthness coming from living the plot.

As a general, I see intellectuals being attracted to the forum.

They love information, generally man who loves abstract thinking, models, maps, systems thinking, STEM types.

They develop hyper-cognition but it is not deeply embodied as love/discernment/wisdom.

Some people's plot is being intellectuals. That can be their way. I know it's not mine.

But they can also be Leo's copycats. Which equals living someone else's plot/life, not your own.

Yes, the copycat syndrome is prevalent here big time, the idol worship too, it happens everywhere, I've been thru this stage in many ways in many fields, when I was young playing tennis full time, I worshipped Borg, played like him, wore cloths like him and so on, then in Martial Arts I had that with a few ppl, and in Spirituality it happened too, but it dissipates sooner or later, one has to be who they are within this moment and within this karmic makeup, and go for it in whatever way they need, some only want simple Peace, or Bliss, others want this so called Absolute Understanding, go for it but if you can't joyfully accept all consequences then suffering will result for sure, if you like to suffer then continue on!

I would love that people talk more about business, life purpose, skills development, pickup, day to day interactions -  becoming more alive, confident, develop your body.

We have to make this forum more Tier 1

Sure, but this is a forum for spirituality and Spirituality is the path of enlightenment, of opening to your true nature, and it is a mysterious path, traveled by extremely few people. Then, only your intuition is the guide, so it's normal that many get stuck or wrong, it's part of the path

Keep a meditation practice while mastering survival
