God works in mysterious ways?

Here's one I hear a lot:
"God works in mysterious ways".

Really?  God is mysterious?

This is God we're talking about.  If anything, God should be an example of perfect logic and reasoning, not some mysterious puzzles and riddles and stuff.

God is not mysterious nor a mystery.  God should be precise and exact and complete.  He does not work in mysterious ways; he works perfect and exactly.

God doesn't do things for the hell of it.  God does not do things just because it can.

Seems to me like the description of a mysterious God with mysterious plans for everyone is really a description for a powerful entertainment producer or a puppet master pulling the strings, calling the shots and putting people through tests.

The end of separation is the end of desire. It’s life, it’s death, it’s unity; it is the absolute. In this profound realization, we find perfection eternal, a state of everlasting harmony.

Human projection. To an ant, humans are mysterious. To a proton, fractals are confusing.

Question is rather, "how did we get confused?"

where you need to be careful is that human have invented a god that they inserted into a bible, a god that loves suffering sacrifice and death

a truly mysterious entity compared to its namesake

@MarioGabrielJ god is an eternal mystery unto itself. That is its nature.

Or is it?😁

Yes that is a Great Question! And this question and its answer is directly related to the "impalpability" of God.

It takes 2 the create a mystery: The object of Mystery and the one who experiences the Mystery. As we ultimately know here, these 2 ore ONE. The riddle of a mystery becomes somewhat decipherable when you reverse the projection - as in God is not Mysterious - it is the seeker of God that is shrouded in Mystery.

I agree to some extent, It feels like it shouldn’t be that difficult to answer our reality but yet it is or we have missed something so obvious🤪

MarioGabrielJ - thanks for this post -

In this thread you use the word "should" repetitively : "If anything, God should be an example of ..."; "God should be precise and ..."; "It feels like it shouldn’t be that difficult to ..."

I find it somewhat unclear, as 'should' is always relative to some "condition". In other words "should" in accord with what?

Consciousness does feel mysterious though.

Like, sure stop chasing and there is no problem.

But that's the point, we can expand potentially infinitely.

And keep discovering new patterns forever.

Maybe motivations aren't mysterious, maybe they are.

But reality itself, woah

Keryo Koffa - when you say "Consciousness does feel mysterious though."

What do you specifically mean by 'Consciousness'.

I am not coming from an ignorance of what you might mean - but I don't want to assume you mean something when you might be meaning something else.

You want it to be mysterious because that means your mind is open. Logic works but its not needed and is how God limits itself to experience anything continuous

When climbing the ladder to the philosophers stone you reach the top grab it hold on and kick the ladder out from under you. Logic being the ladder.

This is a misconception that must be let go of. God's realm transcends all logic and reasoning.

In the manifest world there is always a best guess for a certain outcome. But then again, dumb luck can also win over even the best laid plans.

The metamorphic nature of my experience. Our awareness is limited but can easily be expanded.

meta (self-referencing) morphic (changing) -> self-changing / self-overriding / self-transcending

Today I may dream that I am a butterfly, tomorrow a butterfly may dream it's me.

Consciousness is interconnected, as we grow we expand, from a cell to a whole human

From an idea to a system to a story to a culture to a civilization and even further beyond

To communicate what I mean, I'll have to reference two videos, of course the channel builds on top of its old material:

To the human mind God's work can be mysterious.

To the Godhead it's perfectly logical and reasonable.

God sees things the limited human mind can't see which makes it mysterious for the human mind but not for God.
