Anyone seriously interested in spirituality should be able to silence the mind at will. A silent mind is not synonymous with enlightenment. There are many other layers, energetic barriers that make this particular experience the way it is. Enlightenment is opening a momentary gap in experience and allowing the absolute to manifest. This is not the same as having a mind in flow, empty of interpretation. This is very good, it is very relaxing, alive. the way of living, and by living this way one perceives oneself as a living reality, not as a human on a timeline, but its not mysticism, just reality without the anxious bubble of thought

Because MInd is Chatting so much Uncontrollably, Awareness is left behind, in its place is endless Thought, endless Mind, and Mind is either past or future, memory or imagination, never present NOW!

So when its silent, then the beginning of Awareness opens up, life changes and things that were not Perceived before begin to be Perceived, and what You do not Perceive does not exist for You!

Don't you find it odd how these kinds of simple questions are more profound than what we call mundane life.
