The alien word is a way to describe something completely out of the world to a human.

You can easily imagine the difference between the consciousness of an ant vs a human. Now imagine a similar order of magnitude leap beyond the human. This would take you into the Alien.

Hmm. Is it just me, but I imagine ants to have a similar experience of the world minus the complexity of thought and emotion that humans have.
