Balkan countries are not that safe and there is a lot of air pollution in winter.

It's pretty damn safe in Balkan. What do you mean?

Stockholm is is the least stressful, it's very modern and calm, it's probably pleasant to live in.

Nice I had very good vibes about Stockholm. Need to go there next!

London is the most overrated city i've visited, it just sucks. :)

For me it was next leel even compared to Paris. Very impressive arhitecture/organizing.
However, England is in lots of BS currently, so wouldn't recommend going there.

Adding to this, I think Netherlands is worth seeing, either Rotterdam or Amsterdam. The vibe of freedom was amazing when I was there in Am.

Yes it's safe that you don't have to worry about your life, but not that safe that you can leave your things on the beach or in the car.

Recommending countries/cities here is pointless anyway because everyone favours their own country or countries they like personally.

Also, people like different things/countries at different stages of their life.

Literally the whole Europe is now being recommended in this thread lol

@Schizophonia

I have saved about 5k, but want to spend as little as possible.

You should definitely go to the Balkan countries then. Super cheap

Albania has great nature and landscapes and it's cheap.

With that budget you should go to Mediterranean countries, not in northern Europe.

@Nemra For travel on budget, I would buy a $100 hammock and set myself in the nature here and there, as it will still be pretty warm for 2-3 more weeks in most places, with somewhat close access to the public utilities, also you can buy 1-month euro pass for $250 to travel cheaply with trains between cities all 'round Europe

Here's all you need to know about it:

You visit nature when you have lot of time and/or that you travel with your family anyway. Otherwise it will just be a lose of money.

If I may recommend two towns from my country (the Netherlands): Deventer or Nijmegen - very beautiful and not 'discovered' so much by tourists

It's not true, you don't need money to see nature. But to visit the main historical places/museums/food/etc. It does take money (and time). It also depends what you want to visit. Some places are so beautiful that you don't find everywhere in the world.

Yes, but does it worth a travel just for that ?

It also seems to me that his main goal was to see if the grass was greener elsewhere, so the more logic would be visiting a big city and being welcomed by someone (of this forum ? for exemple) to both having fun and being guided.

Imo.

People pay thousands just to see nature. When you get older, you will understand.
