Donald vs Kamala

23 posts in this topic

As a politically illiterate person (and half retard to be frank) unaware of what either of their plans are, give me a few key points to consider should I decide to vote this season. I’ve never voted on any election before. Both sides think the other is going to ruin the country, of course. How do I know who is right?

Educate yourself and then contemplate.

There is plenty of analysis out there already.

Interesting. No labels sounds alright. But also the constitution is super important to uphold, too bad environmentalism isn’t on that one. I dislike how there’s no men’s equality. I’d pick that one a hundred percent if it was an option. Women’s rights are held in much higher regard than men’s to anyone paying attention. Other than abortion, what rights do women not yet fully have?

Dios Mio (OMG) I just took the test and look what was my results that I should vote for. Are you sure this test is accurate and does not have bugs????? Are you like 100% sure????

But I like Kennedy, actually I even meet with him few times, I would post pictures me and him but not sure it’s a good idea. He is still one of those old fashion democrats. I don’t know the later candidates are about polarization it’s like one or the other. I think the non polarization really ended with Clinton. I mean Bush started but then the war on Iraq and Afghanistan changed the American culture and since then it started to be polirized. But I would say Biden was neutral in that sense (except his idea to vaccinate everyone against Covid and glad the Supreme Court did not allow him cause that was totally unconstitutional).

Overall I think that link was pretty spot on, i would classify myself as high in all those parties and if I had a ranked choice vote I would put 1 marianne 2 kamala, for VP im thinking more and more Tim Walz or Beshear but if aoc ran her or whitmer would be good choices too.  Joe exotic seems like a joke he doesnt seem like a progressive person at all lmao. thanks for sharing the link.

I think the test is cool, I actually sent to two more people and for them also Kennedy appeared in high 70ies. Does he appear to all of you? Wonder if this is to his neutrality on many topics?

The problem here is that democrats are way to brainwashed and they think Trump is the next Hitler.  It's so funny to even see from a standpoint of a turquoise individual seeing everything from an elevated position.   He's not.  He'll probably get the country way more on track then Harris will.

I just back spaced through my phone and i was RFK jr as top president pick, then Russel Cohen followed by Joe Exotic, then trump. Joe Exotic, wtf. Is this test for real? The first two are independents and i am an independent voter, i dont tie myself to left or right and trump would get my vote hands down. Images aren’t loading for me to post..

I am glad to see that not everyone on this forum is anti-Trump and just repeats the MSM narrative

Please explain your logic!

As for "from a standpoint of a turquoise individual seeing everything from an elevated position."   In your dreams!

And TBH using Hitler for comparison cheapens what monster was he, I don’t think anyone in history (except Stalin and Mao) who can be compared. The guy deliberately killed people for sport, for no good reason, he packed people and burned in chambers. Comparing just show a low quality thinking, I am sorry to say that. There are way more individuals in America who should be looked under scrutiny. You have Neo Nazis and KKK who spew much more hate and air at specific individuals as well as people from Antifa who are against white propel as well and by the way it is also a problem. There should not be any racism towards any kind of people and no race shall be elevated over other in US as how “progressives” like to do. That’s why you have all these hatred and division.
You know thinking about politics of both democrats and republicans I would say it’s all two faces of the same coin.

To answer your question about spiral stages, you know they say those who are truly enlightened, transcend from this world and if they are here, they have some work still to do. Maybe they are about to complete but still their ego is attaching. And of course to call someone Devil or Satan who by the way is far from it, obviously show you their thinking stages, and you can tell most people are just turquoise wanna be but are way on lower stages.

@Merkabah Star This test is cute and correct for most part but I think I figured where the test convolutes. It’s really aiming at an average person, those who are stubborn in their views regardless of what opinion they subscribe. When it comes to people like most of us, who sees appreciation in both police view, there the test fails and basically on algorithm selected it will move you to one or the other optical view.

Comparing Trump supporters to the contemporary American version of the Nazis is apt. Not because Trump or his supporters necessarily believe what the Nazis believed, but because it's a quite effective demonstration of the Banality of Evil. Anyone who's made their way to this forum should hopefully be able to separate Frame from Content.

"[They] did not know before 1933 that Nazism was evil. They did not know between 1933 and 1945 that it was evil. And they do not know it now [in 1946].”

― Milton Sanford Mayer, They Thought They Were Free: The Germans, 1933-45'

In Weimer Germany's last free elections, not everyone casting ballots for the Nazis would have described themselves as a Nazi, and a lot of them didn't have any particular animosity towards Jewish people. What was far more common was that folks saw some personal advantage to throwing their lot in with vengeful nationalists, and were willing to downplay and excuse the monstrous things that Hitler and the Nazis were saying and doing at the time - just as people today are willing to downplay Trump's violent hateful rhetoric, his numerous crimes, the January 6th insurrection, and the Republican Party's ongoing coup attempt.

Likewise, the vast majority of Trump supporters don't think of themselves as fascist enablers, but what they fail to recognize is that today's fascism couches itself in traditional American values, weaponized against out-groups within American society - just as Nazi fascism marketed itself in traditional German values, weaponized against the out-groups of its day.

@DocWatts I will politely disagree with you claiming that fascism coaches on traditional American values. I can argue the other way around that social nationalism leads more to fascism. Despite the stage blue personality of the neo conservatism they have a lot of positive values like respecting the family structure, ethical religious laws when it comes to helping society and charity, teaching people not to be selfish and help the community. Again I am not here to bash the progressives but they do lack those things. Or maybe whatever progressives we have is not a healthy stage green. Both sides have flaws and both sides have positives but to brand one good and the other bad is immoral. But whatever Trump policy is, it is not even infinitesimal close to Nazism, it’s a day and night differences. Again I am not defending Trump but I never ever heard him say that he will eradicate any ethnicity. We are all rolling around same topic and we accept fear porn from the media. I understand if any of you were working in his cabinets and one of you were a whistle blower, all we do here is just speculation.

Again I am not taking one side or another, I just want to point out that we make up fears out of nothing. And by the way, I do have a lot of friends who are starch republicans and do you know how much fear mongering they have about Harris, they say exactly the same if Harris will take over the country and who Nazism will spread, that she will change this country upside down. But I tell them exactly the same as I say here. What I see is fear took over everyone. People make up all sort of shit on all political spectrum.

See I personally do not care, first of all there is nothing that I can do to change the pitiful spectrum and second if I will start worry it will take me off from doing spiritual awakening. And by the way I can continue my spiritual awakening regardless who will be president.
