I was initially confused, but I now interpret the ceremony's opening as a celebration of France as the birthplace of postmodernism and what is now known as French theory.

In this context of culture war, it was actually a tour de force.

Perhaps study history and understand the danger of leftwing Marxists and the damage that they have done.

Russia being banned from the Olympics is such bullshit. Why isn't America banned for all of its invasions, such as Iraq. Why was America never banned from the Olympics in the 70's for the Vietnam war?

Yes, this is the main issue. Compared to the US, Russian pharmacology in some ways is more advanced and thorough regarding their understanding of drugs and peptides. Thus making it harder and almost impossible to test for certain things that aren't being tested for or are endogenous to the body.
