Thoughts??

Has anyone tried plant based diet and got to the point where it felt like you were on modafinil without side effects

If so, I'm gonna try it out again.

This is a little study on people who suffer from OSA.

This is a really crappy study probably ideologically motivated so they don't specify it but most of the participants (i.e. 14 out of 21 days) are obviously obese. As despite Michael's super tomato onion turmeric curry a vegan diet remains disgusting and they obviously lost weight and improved their condition.

Eventually, lot of copper will increase a bit norephedrine.

Yes, sleep apnea really diminish your well being. It’s basically daily sporadic hypoxia.

Bad selection of people to ask except Michael. xD

@Schizophonia is an emotional anti vegan who likes to trigger.

Leo relies mostly on meat because of his gut issues.

Michael is the nutrition expert here.

Anecdotally I was vegan for 3 years myself and didnt experience this super mental clarity. When I reintroduced vegetarian animal products I didnt experience a drop or increase in mental clarity either.

@Jannes  @Schizophonia You think vegan diet will help the effect of modafinil becoming stronger?

No + vegan diet actually gave me severe brain fog.

I don't know enough about modafinil or the vegan diet to answer such an advanced question.

You can try a vegan diet for yourself and see if it personally gives you more mental clarity and then modafinil will probably add something on top of that.

What are you looking for exactly? Like do you have a health condition or something and are looking for a solution?

Could you not lose weight and maintain a healthy microbiome by eating a lot of whole foods and veggies without cutting out meat?

@Growly sorry, been off for a bit.

I didn't find the full paper of this study (although I didn't search extensively)  so can't look at their methodology and most importantly whether they controlled for any confounding variables that could skew the results such as weight loss, nutrient status, caloric intake, macronutrient intake etc.

It is certainly an interesting result but the mechanisms aren't exactly clear to me.

Still, if you experience apnoea, maybe give it a shot.  From my experience it takes about 3-6 months to fully incorporate such a major transition in lifestyle and I'd highly encourage you to do it properly because half-arsed veganism can be a disaster.

@Schizophonia i think it really depends from the single person. I believe everyone should try to go vegan at least once in life. For me, my phisical and mental health improved a lot

My focus improved a great deal, but then I paired it with other changes like meditation and yoga at the time. I noticed an increased vividness in colors when I was doing energy work most of all. One thing to consider is the lighter and better quality of your foods, the less energy you use in their digestion, which means your organs get less tired, etc. Also if you don't overcook food you end up with more nutrients, requiring less food overall, which again means less time digesting it.

A good analogy is the quality of fuel or oil you put into an engine.

Then you can consider things like the time of day you eat, or occasionally fasting to give your body plenty of downtime while you rest, not stuffed with food all the time, or the quality of the water you have etc. It all depends on how much effort you want to put in.

I usually eat vegan 2-3 days in a row for mental clarity/performance then cycle back to heavier foods for nutrients.

So you can try a 3 day split routine instead of thinking of diet as a all or nothing approach.

Your high on everything, if you eat a carrot you experience a carrot high that shapes your reality significantly, that’s if your aware enough to notice it.

How is this post just me acting out my ego in the usual ways? Is this post just me venting and justifying my selfishness? Are the things you are posting in alignment with principles of higher consciousness and higher stages of ego development? Are you acting in a mature or immature way? Are you being selfish or selfless in your communication? Are you acting like a monkey or like a God-like being?
