Best Laptop For Playing Videogames On?

8 posts in this topic

Hello. I am curious as to what you guys have found to be the best laptop to play video games on?

I want to play some old video games that I used to play as a child on windows XP such as Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.

But I also want to play newer video games on the PC such as Life is Strange, Skyrim, GTA-6, etc.

Any recommendations on a PC that can do this?

I heard of that one! Do you like it? I have been hearing good things about Asus Rog Zephyrus G16.

It’s the one you can get the most performance out of for the money, and if you get the 1600p 500nit screen you’ll have a pretty good screen too.

The only real drawbacks for the 2022/2023 models which I remember looking at is coil whine, probably weight and size and the charging brick was bulky.

I would build a gaming desktop PC instead. Laptops are not ideal for gaming. Only buy a gaming laptop if you 100% need it for traveling.

Thinner, better high end screen options, probably louder and hotter than the strix

The better question is what would you play on such a high end pc, or any pc in general these days, the games that came out in the recent few years are terrible. I haven’t touched pc or console gaming in years.

The last thing that came out that was somewhat decent was Elden Ring.

Asus ROG GX800VH: Known for its gaming capabilities and priced around $6,000, it features a 17-inch screen, liquid cooling dock, and powerful internal components.
