Ego dissolution should fix all abnormalities, not create ones. Unless it's some old thing arising to be cleared out.

It's probably something much more complicated than that. Your experience is not a normal sign of ego dissolution.

Perhaps you interpreted mental shifts as spiritual but it was something neurological instead. That's why it happened in conjunction.

I think mental shifts/ego layer dissolutions/thinning of self/mind layer dissolutions, different ways to call it, are both neurological and spiritual since our brain creates our self image and reality and belief systems we are attached to

I think everyone experiences a little of this lessening of 3D when ego layers dissolve but it’s so subtle they don’t notice because it happens so slow

It did get better after the shifts /dissolutions initially

Your state of wellbeing could be indipendant of this weird phenomena.

Yea . All im saying is that the lessening of 3D is because of a thinner sense of separation (ego) from environment , thus the environment seeming “closer”. It makes sense even if one hasn’t experienced it but it’s quite unique probably. I’d say it’s because it all happened very fast for me

How can you tell the 3D apart from the 3D? And what do believe is EGO dissolution is?

The words you're using to describe your experience are difficult to interpret for me. I'm trying to imagine maybe you're experiencing something like becoming more present. So that it feels like everything is more crispy, HD, and "slow" and spacious and static. That would be how a normal person describes ego dissolution :D

I think i was able to understand what you mean. If I "zone out" while staring at something in front of me in a broad manner. My vision becomes like a screenshot or a wallpaper. But I have to put effort to see things in such a way.

It feels more like a trick of an eye tho rather than ego dissolution. Maybe you should check with an eye doctor

I agree haha, there actually is no depth perception at all. Everything is perceived flat. depth is just another angle of wideness. blew my mind when i first "saw" it

Ok I can describe it differently next time maybe. Well when the ego gets thinner there is less sense of time so more present in that regard. Environment looks more colorful and bright if I remember correctly so maybe more HD. I don’t know about slow tho.

would it be? I haven’t really heard that description before

I have gone to eye doctor in past. All I have is slight near sightedness and visual snow but that’s not to do with the 3D stuff from what I know

another way to describe it:

so when we are young we form an ego. This is our sense of separation from the environment. It creates sense of “I’m here and objects are over there” (depth) .

from my experience it seems there are many “layers” to this ego that makes it dense. Then when layers dissolved for me, it was a subtle change in depth perception so the environment seemed just so slightly more “close” and less “deep” (because sense of separation is a bit thinner) maybe understandable now? I think more people experience this but maybe don’t notice because it happens more gradual and slow for them maybe

What is perception even I get confused by that word sometimes. It’s what we sense with the senses right ?

@Sugarcoat check out neural annealing on youtube by andres gomez emillson. Self is an energetic pattern encoded on phenomenology. The high energy states caused by spiritual practices change the topology of the phenomenal field in a non trivial way, just like dmt or other substances. It is completely natural.

I don’t think we’re perceiving the same thing.

@Sugarcoat also, people on this forum dont know shit, do not trust what they say. It has become an echo chamber of spiritual absolutes. It is a nice space for sampling experiences though.

I will check it out. A bit hard to understand what you wrote but maybe I will understand better if I watch it

I don’t blindly trust but I like sharing perspectives. Your response was unique tho
