Your experience with the 8 Jhanas?

3 posts in this topic

My question is how do you incorporate your daily meditation practice with the knowledge of the eight Jhanas?
I’m currently reading “mastering the core teaching of the Buddha” and he emphasizes the Jhanas a lot but he doesn’t provide much practise tips.
I use the Vipassana technique of scanning the body but is the goal of Vipassana is to move up to the eight Jhana?
I have experienced aspects of different Jhanas but I’m curious if anyone else here understands the Jhanas more deeply and how do you incorporate the knowledge of Jhanas  in your meditation practice?
thank you 🙏

I'm a newbie as well but I liked this video

God-Realize, this is First Business. Know that unless I live properly, this is not possible.

There is this body, I should know the requirements of my body. This is first duty. We have obligations towards others, loved ones, family, society, etc. Without material wealth we cannot do these things, for that a professional duty.

There is Mind; mind is tricky. Its higher nature should be nurtured, then Mind becomes Virtuous and Conscious. When all Duties are continuously fulfilled, then life becomes steady. In this steady life God is available; via 5-MeO-DMT, ... Living in Self-Love, Realizing I am Infinity & I am God
