Would be interesting if Don junior and Gavin’s ex wife, run against Newsom. 😁I don’t think Don jr or Ivanka could get close to ever winning an election. Ivankas husband kills it for her.

That makes no sense, being a VP basically guarantees a future nomination if he seeks it.

I get why Kamala is in the conversation despite arguably being a weaker choice (everyone already knows her so she has less room to improve and is also losing to trump in polls) but I don’t know why everyone brings up Newsom, he is deeply hated by a lot of the country and comes across unlikable and slick. Infamously he once starred in a pro gay marriage ad and polls actually found people became less favorable to it after the ad came out because he was so unlikable.

Any popular dem governor team especially if they’re from a swing state would easily beat Trump. If it’s Kamala or Newsom it is unclear who will win.

If Kamala wins that's gonna be a problem for Newsom because he won't be able to run in 2028. That's a long time to wait for him.

You know what would be nuts but smart, RFK Jr. reregisters as a Democrat and challenges Kamala at the convention. He’ll lose but if he uses the opportunity to bring up his more progressive proposals while all eyes are on him he can pull some dem voters with him when he returns to his independent run.

The issue for any dem now is if they think Kamala will lose and challenge her but lose, if she goes on to lose they may be blamed for it and if they try to run in the future people will say they had their shot and lost. It makes more sense to just not challenge her and let her lose then they can swoop in after that with a much better shot next cycle.

One thing that almost never gets brought up about Buttigieg (spell it right, Leo ) is that he is gay and married to a man. And that's awesome that it is not discussed, as it should be normal and not an issue. And someone's sexuality should not be even mentioned in politics. I only bring it up, because it'd be pretty awesome to have a gay person as vice president, and maybe one day even president. It's huge for the gay rights movement, and for representation. It's come a long way in a short amount of time, from black people and gay people being persecuted and killed regularly (of course they still are, but not like 40-50 years ago) in this country, to them being the potential president/vice president. That's some major progression of society. Just a thought that came up.

His ego is too big to be her VP. Kamala’s whole run could be seen as a suicide mission to him. 

If you can read energy, it’s pretty easy to see he will be a big contender for the dems moving forward. He needs work though.
