To respond somewhat seriously to the initial premise, the forum is not particularly rich in "weirdos". In fact, I see people more polite than average. No killers, rapists, pedophiles or particularly dangerous people. It's not like there are "the normies" and "us", it's a somewhat dismissive illusion.
