Traditional Atheism Pre-Curious (Blue)

This is a interesting perspective that I recently came across that surprised me. I was interacting with a atheist and I made the assumption that they derived there athiesm through a logical process of science or a rejection of religion or some kind of philosophy. A rational lens.

surprisingly how they defined their atheism was simply a lack of religion.

No Religion. That’s it!

They grew up in an environment that did not teach them or give them a religion but their minds did not develop beyond traditional values.

So a religious person would receive a religion from birth as part of their  indoctrination  but a traditional atheist simply did not receive an indoctrination, but they still grew up in a traditional culture. Where they had very little in rational development and are mostly stuck in pre-rational thinking for the majority of their beliefs but none of those beliefs are tied to a higher religion.

and surprisingly I think a lot of people fall into this category! it’s not that they derive atheism through “ I don’t know, we don’t know, it’s unknowable” instead their concept is identity “I don’t have a religion”, And that’s the full extent of its sophistication. The reason I find this mind blowing is because the pre-curious mind does not examine anything too closely, so when it lacks a foundation in religion they simply don’t even question the basic foundation of life. There is no mystery to them! They don’t see a potential mystery they don’t even question it! Traditional can be a type of pre-curiosity.

How is this post just me acting out my ego in the usual ways? Is this post just me venting and justifying my selfishness? Are the things you are posting in alignment with principles of higher consciousness and higher stages of ego development? Are you acting in a mature or immature way? Are you being selfish or selfless in your communication? Are you acting like a monkey or like a God-like being?

Also I dont think its just not being indoctrinated I also think they had their metaphysical reality taken from them by being lied to about Santa. Santa is depicted as God your parents gaslight you into a scenario where you are using purely imagination then they tell you its not real and you never will believe something without seeing it ever again as you feel like a fool and sometimes very crushed by this gaslight. Santa has the same characteristics as God so you question that and cannot be made a fool of again thats just a made up story too.
