It's all about the relationship that YOU create with it.

Religion is just a tool/perspective.

Its just the easy way out. You don't have to think about scary things when you just say God is real im done thinking about it.

 

Others don't because they can't beleive something they don't see hear feel.

Logic is a tool we use to trick ourselves into a beleif system. If the logic dosent fit people can't beleive it.

This is exactly what Politicians, Trump, Conservatives etc.. are doing. Is using Chrsitianity in a utilitarian way. Same with Mega Churches and like Even The Kings used Catholicism.

At least this people undertand that Identity is crucial to existence. But of course they are not interested in deconstruct identity but reinforce it .

I guess one reason might be that it is easy to believe in a cosmology (whether religious, scientific, or philosophical) in place of admitting one's own profound existential uncertainty, which is unsettling. Beliefs give us a stand or position from which to look at and make sense of, ourselves, life and the world.
