The Art of Book Search

18 posts in this topic

Hey! :)

How do you find the best books to read?

How do you find the best teachers to learn?

How can we find the best in every field?

It is more important to learn how to search for good books/teachers than to read like a crazy fool.

Few people talk about this process of finding the true masters.

The best teacher is relative to your stage of development.

Few talk about this process of finding the true.

Finding a top-notch master is great, but merging with them is another story ;)

For me I often listen to my intuition, also if there’s something I want to know , if I keep my focus on the Desire to find something out , things just seem to pop up around me that provide me with answers , it is a quite natural process , energy flows where attention goes. The right teachers will come to my awareness because I keep my focus on the Desire to know/ understand something. This could be anything , sometimes one of my clients will mention an article or book they have read or a podcast which relates to what I’m discovering , I will check it out and some information in it will be what I was looking for.

I am observing my ego wanting to take all the credit, but I realize that without you there would be no insight at all. Thank you ;)

Great perspective. I want to be around the best of the best, true masters who bend reality at will.

I think we always influence our reality wether we conscious of it or not. I also think focus might be the key, if I have a ''belief'' that things happen in a certain way the reality shifts to that point of focus and things will happen the way you think they do, also it is possible we shift/bend this reality all the time, continuously  and the power is in the moment, change this 'belief' and again reality will align with this change and again what will start to happen is what you think will start to happen. World is what you think it is.

I usually pay attention to the authors that great masters recommend. So I kind of use their dicernment. For example, when Gura recomend something it will rarely be shit. It can be in certain point but later one discover was amazing, but of course I dont use only Gura as a guide. If we will depend only on maistream influencers to advice in good books we end up with what every layman read.

You can tell a true master if he teaches you to think for yourself and talks about things you never heared before.

There is nothing safe with playing it safe.
