for now it is temporary but I do want to get old over there. Maybe when I’m like 50 I’ll move back to Syria  permanently. 

I might visit the Middle East this summer. A part of me has been putting it off. Very nerve racking the prospect of reuniting with family that you haven’t seen in over 20 years.

I miss all the people who I never met but who contributed to the Syrian revolution and died for it. 
his name was Mazen

he returned from the US to Syria and was arrested and tortured to death by the Assad regime. 
May his soul run free
