I like seeing society as one big intelligence with different facets. But I think that conservatism plays a role not only in a situational panic break when it is most noticeable but all the time to a lesser extend as well. I get that it's not an issue since she is merely a puppet for someone pulling the strings from behind just like Biden.

@Jannes Conservatives don't give two fucks about what works and what doesn't. We would have advanced an extra 500 years if they did that. 

Also what works and what doesn't is a complicated issue. What works for whom is more important. There isn't something that works for everyone.

I mean there are some things solid enough to endure backlash and steadily force themselves through all of society. The acceptance of gay people is something solid like that which can eventually even reach conservatives. Here in Germany there are even gay politicians in the right parties.
