still struggling with chronic anxiety from 5meo ptsd

it's been 5 years since, and i feel like the improvement bottle-necked after 2 years and has been the same baseline with random annoying activations at night through out the year

I have some experience of de-relization at times after taking psychedelics which sometimes are pretty scary and anxiety inducing and at other times quite calming as I realize that my problems and life don't really have that much weight in the grand scheme of things.

I'm experiencing some throat like overwhelming sensation and a tightness in chest at all times, i feel some fear/worry that just never goes away 24/7

i mostly just distract myself all day, it's becoming a chore just to survive day by day or even sleep at night

Are you smoking pot or taking any kind of other recreational drugs? If so, try removing that and see if that helps

@khalifa seriously, Martin ball is an expert with over 8.000 sessions with clients. There are cases like your. Have you contacted Martin Ball? He probably will tell you that you need to take 5 Meo again and have a full breakthrough where everything is resolved after.

Do not take 5meo again. 

I would get evaluated by a physicians as well, but to be honest this sounds like you have an unresolved issue about this trip. 

You need to take responsibility and realize you are the creator of your emotions, you are not the victim of them. You are creating them through your beliefs. You have to get down to the bottom of them and understand what is actually going on. 

why are you choosing to create this experience you call anxiety?

Bro it’s the 4th time you write about this situation. Clearly it seems you don’t have tried  anything meaningful to flip the coin. Sorry to be a bit hard but sweetie spiritual words don’t help that much now

I personally know such situations my self and I understand completely how the anxiety can be overwhelming during the day , no joking. But the anxiety is there for a reason, it says move your butt or die in this loop. Another thing is that for sure 5 meo did not give you trauma and ptsd but it showed you it was already there stuck in your system and it also did not cleared it.

Why don't you give it a chance? Sounds reasonable and he has a ton more experience than you so why do you dismiss his expertise so easy.

Well.. there was also a bad trip (not as physically bad) with mushrooms after my bad 5-meo experiences, and ummm.. but it helped in some ways. Not long after I got out of the "dark zone" entirely. It was like a glitch more or less but still difficult at the time, especially coz no one to really talk to about it.

5 years is a really long time to deal with PTSD symptoms. You should try looking for a good therapist.. ask if they might be ok first about reporting on psychedelic experiences.

I have similar experience as you (though with lsd and not so severe at all in the end). I strongly recommend you to find and get psychiatric help (did you try?). If it is not available in your country, travel, save money, get medication. Do not lean (just) on homeopatic cures etc., even meditation or online therapies. I have a sympathy for these things, but especially after 5 years, you need to try medication.

My story: I tried LSD for the first (and last) time, first hours were great, but I ended up with similar symptoms for about a week. I experienced "different mind" too, along other stuff (no sleep for 2 nights, one schizophrenia-like episode, weird "cracking" feeling in my mind every 5 seconds when I moved my eyeballs. Different mind - like if I was just an empty observer of my being, luckily it stopped after 3 days).

These complications had purely "psychiatric" nature - nothing to do with enlightment feeling (maybe that different mind did, but again, 3 days is too much). Others who took the substance were ok next day. If had not these complications lasting for a week in total, maybe I would consider trying it again.

Maybe, probably, majority of people are ok the next day or two after lsd. But for me, it was not just one-night bad trip, it lasted for whole week! And I already had experince with weed, no longterm complications.

My motivation was the same - to play with my awareness, inspired by Actualized. I was 20 yo and take full responsibility for it. And I dont want to frame this as if Actulized.org is doing harm.

BUT while most of the people know about bad trips, maybe some (me at least) hadn't thought much it may bring longterm complications (other than becoming enlighted) for some individuals. (OFC it depends on substance purity too. But again, I was the only one having complications out of 4 people).

I want to say - longterm complications do exist, include them into your risk-benefit decision process when taking psychedelics, especially for the first time.

Because it can always get far worse than it currently is. There are no experts on psychedelics.
