@Sugarcoat I didn't get to read your initial post because you removed it (which is totally okay if that's what you felt). I couldn't help but ask my homie, the AI robot, what this might be based on your comments describing what you are going through in this thread.

They assume that this is exactly what @Ulax wrote.

Here it is:

"The symptoms you describe could be indicative of several potential conditions, but one possibility is depersonalization-derealization disorder (DPDR). This disorder is characterized by persistent or recurrent feelings of detachment from one's self (depersonalization) or the surroundings (derealization). Here’s how the symptoms you mentioned align with DPDR:

1. Feeling like your ego and self dissolve to almost zero: This can be a form of depersonalization, where individuals feel disconnected from their thoughts, body, or identity.
2. Experience of separation and the world being 2D: This aligns with derealization, where the external world feels strange, unreal, or distorted.
3. Feeling of emptiness: This can be a common experience in depersonalization, where there is a lack of emotional connection.
4. Self-centered brain and attention more internal: People with DPDR often focus intensely on their internal states, analyzing their feelings and perceptions.
5. Reduction of symptoms with physical activity: Exercise can sometimes alleviate symptoms of DPDR, as physical activity can ground individuals in their bodies and the present moment.

It's important to note that these symptoms can overlap with other conditions such as depression, anxiety disorders, or certain types of psychosis. Consulting a mental health professional is crucial for a proper diagnosis and treatment plan."

Edit: I don't claim it to be exactly your case, I don't know or understand what you are going through and I might never know or understand. What you are going through seems like a pretty difficult and unbearable life experience. I wish you all the best.

❤️

Thanks for taking your time to answer . What ai did you ask? I’m new to those things but that gave a very good and accurate answer

@Lila9 @Ulax

I wonder why the doctors didnt say those things. They say I have “delusions” but they couldn’t give me any diagnosis at all

im not saying it is that per say, those things you guys mentioned but I wonder how those work and I wanna read into it. Why would someone have it for such a long time how does it work in the brain even

I felt a bit ashamed because I know how weird it sounds what I wrote that’s why I deleted it. That’s usually how it goes

Thanks for the kind responses anyways

It's unprofessional of the doctors to say such a thing to a person who seeks help. They could have provided further elaboration or a diagnosis.

Yes, I also think it's better to read about it more to determine if it's actually your case. If it is, from what I understand, this is treatable.

I don’t know if it’s professional or not as I’ve only been to one place so I can’t compare to anything else. Delusions are something people can have and since my descriptions are quite outlandish I can see how they could fit it into that category but now that you wrote what you wrote I’m a bit surprised they didn’t mention those things as potential diagnosis as they do fit some of my descriptions. They gave me anti psychotic but it doesn’t help at all maybe just give me a bit less anxiety that’s it. Was it ChatGPT you used?

@Sugarcoat imo could be because a lot of professionals, including psychologists, aren't that in the know when it comes to dissociative disorders.

Be-Do-Have

There is no failure, only feedback

Do what works

Ok interesting because only two doctor out of the ones I’ve met mentioned it very briefly but the ones who evaluated me didn’t even have it as a potential diagnosis in their hypothesis . Thanks for the info

It took over a decade to find a therapist for me who actually understood me deeply.

It’s why I advocate for psychedelics to be used more in the mental health field. I discovered that therapist only 6 months after my ketamine trips.

I tried it but my parents found it and threw it all away lol (dmt)

I should also mention that those 6 months were hell. So it’s not as easy as give psychedelics to people with mental health conditions and that’s it. I actually ended up in an intensive outpatient program due to how much emotional pain and suffering the ketamine brought up. It was a key part of my healing, nonetheless.

It would’ve been ideal had there been a mental healthcare system that would help patients post-psychedelics treatment. As of this time, you have to figure all of that out on your own with very little clarity on where to even go.

I suspect all of this will become a reality in the next few decades, but I don’t have a few decades. So I decided to test it out myself and not wait for society and science to catch up.

My conservative parents have seen me suffer for decades, so they were willing to give anything a try even if it went against their cultural norms.

That was a good add of info . I’m glad it worked out for you in the end
