Do you believe in Deep State?

What do you think? For me this seems impossible, just in maybe smaller areas of goverz. But I am from Germany and Don't know how it looks like in other countries.

Yes but I do not know if its a specific group of ppl or organizations, I think it is just a system of oppression and dumbing down of society in general that has been going on for a very long time  and now is just the normal ways of doing things (eg politicians lying obsessively to keep their position of power and prestige) , this keep the masses down and makes us cogs in wheels to keep the industry running and the elite getting more money and power, but I don't think it is centralized or anything like that..

We as a general society are very sick and basically insane, but when the majority is like this then it appears as normal.  We've created so many different ways of Suffering, not just for Humans but for the whole planet, it quite obvious that this is a manufactured thing and not just totally a natural progression over the millions of years of evolution..

Most popular conspiracies are unproven. And probably cannot be proven.

If there was a Deep State, and it's as powerful as the conspiracy theories claim, then Trump would have been taken out a long time ago for running against it.

There probably is some pedophilia, lobbying, serious tax evation, and unreported wealth at the top levels of government/business. I think that's about it.

It's the same as in any large organisation, they'll be people that commit crimes covertly, the government is not immune to this and never has been, its just human behavior. The question is whether its trending better than before, which it probably is but there's still a long way to go

Any conspiracy worth its salt would do well to keep hidden.

How then would the average person ever try to uncover such? It's just speculation of whether said conspiracies actually exist.

not to just look cool. it gives them a feeling of specialness.

but what has tis to do with this thread besides deep state is conspiracy territory

   It's not a question of if I or others believe in a deep state, it's a question of if it exists, it exists without need to question the belief.

   Same scenario if you asked me 60 years ago, if I believed there are sharks, and sharks in lake Michigan. At that time, you'd be valid in asking me such a stupid question because most in Michigan don't believe it's possible for sharks to be in lakes, yet after divers found juvenile and baby teeth of bull sharks, it then became a thing.

   Same scenario if you asked me if I believed in spirits and ghosts existing. No, it's not a question of belief, it's if they exist or not, which they do.

   Same thing with Big foot and asking me if I believe it exists. I don't believe it exists, and belief is not required for a creature to exists, which it does in the deep wilderness.

@Danioover9000 I know. It's just I am curious what you guys especially Leo who research a lot in politics have on this topic because I am completely new to this theory. But yeah in the end its existence is not dependent on what you guys believe what's possible.

Having read "The Dark Alliance" by Gary Webb and "Chaos: Charles Manson, the CIA, and the Secret History of the Sixties", I find too many facts hard to overlook for its existence in the US. The 2013 NSA reveal by Edward Snowden is also evidence. 

In my formerly communist country, the transition of power was puppeteered by the equivalent of the KGB/CIA, such that all of the national resources remained in those close to the Deep State, so there it is not even under question.

The deep state is mostly the CIA, although not restricted to. And all the de facto heads of the bureaucratic machine leaders. In any institution, the power is concentrated with the top 20% of the people in that organization. The deep state is basically those people who are unelected, secret and immune to any checks and balances of the state. It pretty much exists and is responsible for propaganda, psyops. etc. 

Having a dementia patient as the president is their wet dream. It is like getting a blank check to do whatever they want.

   That's pretty much true with the CIA and other intelligence agencies, although them having to operate in the dark just feeds this deep state point further. Minus lizard people or UFO greys in the moon harvesting the misery and suffering of mankind as energy. That one's still debatable...
