Yeah, I get it. The reason. Still a personal choice and each person deals with it accordingly. Not for any other person to judge as we're on our own personal journeys.

i never judge women so you know in the future, its deeper reason behind why i say certen things and judgment is never the purpose.If i judged a woman i would be talking shit on threads adressing women.

I can admit I started working out because of looks (and because my mom wanted me to be healthy lol). But what kept me working out is that it feels too good not to. It's like a drug without any side effects (roughly speaking), and it makes you more functional in virtually all domains (bodily, cognitively, energy levels, etc.).

But it's not like I stopped caring about looks either. The times I have gotten an injury where I had to slow down my training, I felt dysphoria, like I was not in the right body. But when I'm in peak shape, I feel pretty fine about my body. People with body dysmorphia basically never feel fine about their bodies, and that can definitely be a problem.

That was me. I used to be as big as that guy above. Now I'm skinny. Depression can really hurt you. I was working out since age 5 up until age 20. Now at 24 I have to restart everything. I only worked out to get women. Realized women don't care about body type and that shattered everything.

Going to the gym would boost my mood. It was beneficial to my mental health. Improving your health feels productive. And it was more fun than shooting a basketball all by yourself which is fun to do too. So it's was a great pastime for me. Again, can't emphasize just how much my health improved from lifting weights. But, initially, I got into weight lifting because I was insecure about my body. I have Klinefelter syndrome, so after puberty I was left with a feminine body, with breasts and an hour glass figure to be specific. As a man, this isn't something that you want. But weight lifting made my body look much more masculine, and I'm forever grateful to lady iron for helping me out.

Joe Fazer is 6'4 (193 inches) and skinny, a full-time YouTuber with over 1,5m subs, probably the perfect body type for most women, and even though he improved his looks substantially by working out, eating better, and taking Accutane he's still insecure, he's still taking steroids at his age, he's still getting DHA spray painted to look more tan. What a joke! 99% of men look worse than this dude, including myself.

I couldn't count how many times I said to myself "I don't look good enough for her", it happened today as well.

 

   Sure, I agree that the priority should be mind muscle connection and muscle strength over muscle mass. You need strong tendons and ligaments first so that if you do want more muscle mass, the joints, the bones, the tendons and ligaments can support a bigger mass. Speed and power should be first priority over muscle size.

Okay, I'm gonna challenge my own perspective here, don't you think that going to the gym would make you more male friends, which results in more women as well since you would usually go out with those friends, It's my own experience that if you just have fun in any social environment girls will automatically notice that and develop attraction.

Personally, I've never attracted a girl by coming up to her out of nowhere, maybe cold approach is just extremely ineffective and a great way to ruin your reputation in your city, since most of us don't live in big cities. My city's population is 1.3m.

Gaining muscle involves going to the gym as well as being in a caloric surplus when you do it, and I just can't be arsed. Kudos to someone who can actually reach a caloric surplus with healthy food, when I did it I drank 2 liters of full fat milk per day and I gained 5kg.

You cant ruin reputation when you dont have any, also this thing you wrote shows you have low self esteem,low self worth,low belief in yourself you cant attract nothing with that,so before saying its ineffective look at yourself first.

You cant gain pure muscle mass without fat fast it evens out in the end.

If you want material things and are going to play the maya game, having your body look toned with muscle is one of the best options to go for.

My arms are maybe twice as big as when I was in high school and if I could go back in time, would I come up with some excuse to not work out? No, of course not. For anyone wondering, I think that faster running made most of the progress, with the recent progress being from pullups.

You very likely don't want to still be skinny or fat or have flabby muscles 4 years from now, and you can work on that. You should likely work on that if you want to play the maya game.

It takes way less effort to maintain than to gain that kind of body too.
