Well - having the Biden team surely didn't scare anyone.  Look at all the wars going on.  I'm not saying that wouldn't have happened with Trump in office..but that's not a good argument.  The guy basically laughed in the face of gunfire.   Kamala would have been crapping her pants.

This idea that wars happens because the President isn't feared enough, is childish. That's not how wars works. Wars happen for much deeper geopolitical reasons that are decades in the making and don't care who is president.

Putin is not going to just give up his ambitions if Trump is in office. Putin wanted Ukrainian land for 20 years now.

2) This is not relevant to anything. If Hitler was shot and did a photo-opp it doesn't make him any better of a leader and it certainly doesn't mean you should vote for him.

Again, that is irrelevant because that's not how economies work. Economies move up and down in cycles. Trump did not create a great economy, it was already doing well during Obama. And it recovered reasonably well under Biden. Blaming Covid economy issues on Biden is also not fair.

You have to consider the real causal factors at work in all this, not imaginary ones based on good vibes. When Covid comes along for Trump you give him a pass as "not his fault" but when war comes along for Biden you take the opposite attitude. That is not sound reasoning.

They are not good faith actors.

I dont think most people care about democracy that much. They want a good economy, safety, no wars and no mass migration.

Your average Trump supporter is willing to sacrifice some democracy if it means he will get the things above.

That is why people vote Trump.

Trust me, I do not like Trump but I have spoken with plenty of smart educated people that like Trump (not Americans even).

They see in Trump someone that will end mass illegal migration, reduce inflation and living costs and end wars.

That is what makes him popular.

His policies appeal to your average Joe in the USA.

They do not care if he appoints his friends or steals some funds as long as people get what they want.

Truth is democracy and corruption are irrelevant to people as long as they get what they want.

Which is why Qatar, UAE etc have tons of Americans and Europeans living in them even though they are half authoritarian.

These things matter once you reach Green. Most Americans are not green.

Hence they can be easily made to vote for you if you promise them what Trump does.

@Leo Gura I see your point Leo, Trump mainly touts two major policies that he wants to implement again to improve the economy, just like he did in 2016, which is energy related polices on oil, and second cutting taxes (which mainly has benefited big corporations during his 2016 term). I'm curious why was the economy objectively doing better under Trump vs Biden, and do you feel that despite the many BS remarks that Trump spouts, that there is partially some truth to his points about how the economy was better under his presidential term compared to Biden's ?

This is a common misconception. Trump inherited a healthy economy that was already on the rise, and if you look back some months before covid-19, things were beginning to decline, especially in manufacturing.

Lots of people don't know who the fucking vice president is and they couldn't name 1 supreme court justice (Who are of course working hand in hand with MAGA/Trump ) .  Which is why we're in this disaster now with Trump / MAGA.
