   Hey @Leo Gura, I don't think the Egyptians were the only ones with impressive stone working.

   Just look at say the Inca civilization, those are massive stones even bigger than in the pyramids! they're pretty massive and precise. Also Ancient Chinese structures that are pyramid like, pretty impressive!

One reason that for sure unite all those stuctures no matter for what specifc function they were built is one: Survival.
