What Enlightenment Does To Your Brain

I need your help, Enlightened Wizards! :D

Do you agree with his perspectives on the effect of enlightenment on the brain?

How is your day-to-day experience post-enlightenment?

Yes,,, All Experience happens in One Place, within YOU, its just that most all ppl are stuck on the level of 5 sense perception tools, which our outward in mechanisms, they bring information into our brains and inside of Us, but the processing and judgement/evaluation happens within Us, if You just learn to master that, You can create any Experience You want, that is the starting point of good Yoga, get to that point of Free Will, the ability to Respond as You choose to Respond then no Stress response will happen, if no stress response happens in Your Life, how would life be Experienced? Probably allot better than it is now for those the experience constant stimulation of the Stress Response, up and down emotional lives, which most think is normal, it may be normal but its not healthy or fun/Empowering in any way...

It isn't relative, so whatever they're measuring in the brain are secondary processes or byproducts. You can't pinpoint it because it's nothing.  Understandably, there's a fair share of fantasy around the term in the way he's speaking. He's likely referring to an experience or state that's likely to be idealized.

The bitch of being happy is that wanting it precludes you from being that; it already produces a split or separation between it and you, and implicitly concedes that you're unhappy now. In any case, I don't know how happiness fits into this discussion, although seems to me to also be a relative phenomenon. We could ask Ramana about the bliss of one's nature, but I wouldn't call that conventional happiness. That would still be independent of circumstances, including physiology. It'd a functioning of being clearly conscious of what you are. The goal is consciousness, happiness and freedom may be byproducts.

With Ramana types as far as I know, they are top of the line, what in the end is the end of striving or seeking, which is the Desiring process, the be unbounded or Consciousness as some may call it, but for the normal human the beginning point is stable happiness or freedom of sort via the experience of it in some limited way, the simple act of being rich for many that are poor is freedom for them for a time being anyways.  As Humans our basic nature is to be more than what we are right now, that leads to Ramana Type experience and Consciousness levels of Being in the end, but at the beginning we have to start from where we are at right now..

I've shared this video a few times on the forum. It's a conversation with Adyashanti and Loch Kelly describing their sort of everyday experience. It's a good description of the classical enlightenment state of being.

That was a very interesting video. I really enjoyed watching it - the one about the enlightened brain. The content was very enlightening. So I guess it must be so because it surely enlightened my brain just by watching it.

Seems like what he's explaining is a trained form of enlightenment. An informed one. One where you're consciously doing things to achieve this state. It still seems to be a learnt process and can be helpful to the human brain; but I wouldn't call that enlightenment as how we tend to think of what enlightenment is. Sadness, unhappiness etc, are learnt; so of course happiness and joy can also be learnt.

It seems though, that one would have to put in tremendous effort to sustain this state because of the body's nervous system and how much of this energy is sustainable at all times. This is probably how these practices that we do on the spiritual level are able to produce these results because they expand the body's capacity to hold these states permanently.

Guys....girls...ladies...gentlemen....

This is NOT about some physical process...this is something that hits you like a fucking freight train of realization....if you're trying to get a glimpse via some fMRI,  or a CAT scan, forget it...go back and watch his videos all over again.   We are NOT talking about some PHYSICAL process...you either get it or you can't fight your way our of a wet paper bag.

It's like saying Aztec non duality started 5000 years ago.  Nothing could be further from the truth, as there is nothing but Consciousness,  everything else is a fucking dream.  Leo dreamed of Aztec non duality.   There is in fact, no such thing.  You're imagining my words and getting ready for your imaginary but VERY hostile retort!  ;))

Understand,  you are all this.  Everything. You are God.  You are all alone.  I am NOT a parrot.  There is only 1.  You think there are multiple,  but there's only 1 understanding this message...and that's YOU

You said we are everything. How can everything be lost. There's only 1 you said, how can the 1 be lost. Get your story straight. Am I lost or am I everything.
